“I sent my wife’s car to Smithtown Autobody recently and the minute I walked in i felt at ease when I spoke to the front desk. Then I spoke to Kevin and I discussed the dilemma I was in. The whole process was flawless from start to finish and the body shop is top notch. I had a cracked back panel on my wife’s Subaru forester. They fixed the problem and made the car look like it came out of the showroom.
Also to top it off they not only cleaned the outside of my wife’s car, they also cleaned my wife’s inside as well, and it was super clean which was unexpected but also very gratifying to see, and professional on all levels.

“This place is the absolute best auto body I’ve ever experienced they are beyond professional never make you feel like you’re bothering them this’ll is the 2nd time they’ve done repairs for us on 2 different cars and left me feeling very satisfied and out right happy , Ryan is the best he even complemented me on my car “ I love this car” which made me really feel great as I feel the same I am a car guy and my car is an extension of who I am so the fact that they treat your car with love is awesome. Plus they absolutely do not use after market parts only manufacturer certified parts which keeps all warranties (if applicable)intact. “Mike from Champion is great. He truly loves his work and it shows! He did two new clear glass shower enclosures which came out perfectly.
What was amazing was installing a 12 foot long mirror into a very tight space with virtually no room for error. He said he could do it and he succeeded.”

“The roof of my car was damaged by this glass company when installing a rather large and heavy sunroof during a replacement job that was subletted to them by a dealership in Queens. The owner, Sal was extremely corporative, kind, understanding and just had overall great communication which is A LOT more than I can say about the dealership we were working with. He took ownership of the tough situation and made it right once we had a plan and information.
People in every industry and line of work from employees to owners of companies have and will continue to make mistakes, myself included! We are all human. It’s all about what you do to make things right, move forward and just being an honorable individual who keeps their word. And the owner of this company, Sal showed all these things with all of my encounters with him. He was also very kind but that’s irrelevant from the review. Anyway, it’s tough finding people like Sal out there, especially in the auto industry, in NY no less.

The door had to be removed, re-skinned, and all the electronics handled — a complex job — yet the results were flawless. “Excellent experience!!!. From the moment i walked in i just felt at ease and comfortable. Talking to Mike and Ron and getting everything set up was unbelievable easy with them. They made me feel confident immediately that i was in the right place. Super informative on the process and what my expectations should be including time frame for repairs etc. Very pleasant to speak with in general and extremely polite. The accident was a sideswipe and smash along the entire drivers side of the car. When i got the car back, the work was so amazing that i honestly wished that they would have just painted the entire car. They kept me informed throughout the entire process and delivered the car back to me exactly as scheduled. I have nothing but nice things to say. “These guys are above par with the work they perform. The owner,Anthony,and his son,also Anthony are really attentive to the customer needs.They have done at least 7 jobs on different automobiles I have owned,each time the work was exquisite!!!I highly recommend them not only because of the fine craftsmanship of their shop,but they also know how to handle the insurance estimates,so as not to be shorted by the insurance companies,as the companies always try to do.One example is that they only use OEM parts.The insurance companies always try to use cheaper parts,which most times are very inferior to OEM ,and “Tony” won’t use them.The paint work is better than when the car was just off the assembly line”

“Was in a jam on a projects and needed glass quickly. Called and left a message on a Saturday morning and at the time I was rolling my eyes thinking this is pointless. About 2 hours later I got a callback from Gino. He took his time with me, walked me thru what I needed as far as hardware tolerances and specs. I am a Cabinetmaker and went to 2 shops prior that couldn't be bothered to help me or needed a 3 to 4 week turn around time. Gino took my order on that Saturday afternoon and they were waiting for me to pick up on Tuesday morning. Really impressive and will definitely use them again.
