Ace Hardware in New York has great service and a solid selection. Prices are a bit high, but the convenience makes up for it.

Relatively small store absolutely packed with merchandise. Narrow aisles and dark, but you can find almost anything. Ample help are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Street parking.
