“i highly recommend giving this spot a visit. I went in confused and lost, but i left an enlightened man. laconia liquors got that juice. it has everything i needed to get on one and so much more. I saw whiskeys i had never seen before, wines and rums from the furthest corners of the globe, all with the convenience of being close by (and they deliver???). this is not only a community service, but a (spirit)ual one. Its run by a day 1 BX family, you couldn't support a more deserving local business.”

I was looking for a limited edition blue label for a friend’s birthday and couldn't find it in the 2 stores near me. On the recommendation of another liquor store, I called here and they had the wine! The clerks were helpful and remembered my call a few hours earlier. They got the wine for me and I was on my way!”

“I needed a gift so I got a nice bottle of tequila for a co-worker from J&M. Im hoping when I go there today that they have some Sake which I doubt they will. Sometimes it get busy here with the "regulars" but for the most part its in and out. Nope they don't have sake.”

“I moved to this neighbourhood from Manhattan in 2018 and this has been my only store ever since. The selection is surprisingly diverse and the prices are remarkably affordable. I would have liked better selections of Scotch (some Glenfiddich, perhaps?), but otherwise this place really has whatever one needs for whatever occasion and at prices that do not force one to compromise in the slightest. The owner and one of the longer-term staff members are highly knowledgeable, whilst the newer additions are friendly and seem to learn quickly enough. One is most often greeted with a bright smile and cheerful greeting when one arrives in the evening and the longer-term staff member, a lovely young lady, is on duty. She is incredibly warm and welcoming, knowledgeable and efficient. I am always thrilled to see her there whenever I enter the store. I will sadly be moving away from the neighbourhood in a couple of months, and I will sorely miss this place.”
