Petco is a pet health and wellness company offering nutrition, supplies, and services for various animals. This Bronx location provides brand-name products, grooming, veterinary services, Vetco vaccination clinics, adoption services, and training classes. Customers can order online for in-store pickup or repeat delivery. Reviews present a mixed experience. Positive feedback highlights a good and friendly team, with specific staff members praised for being helpful and providing excellent, A+ personal customer service. The online order for in-store pickup option is also noted as convenient. However, significant criticisms are raised. The store is often described as cramped, chaotic, and poorly stocked, with consistently empty shelves. Parking is reported as a nightmare. In-store customer service receives negative remarks, with mentions of being short-staffed, long waits for help, cashiers with attitude, and employees appearing distracted. Some feel it is not the place for in-person product questions or recommendations. Concerns are also voiced about animal care in the small animal department, with a call for dedicated, trained staff. Holiday or unexpected early store closures have also caused frustration for customers.
Few staff working the entire store so the cashier line is always really long

It’s generally ok. But CHECK FOOD EXPIRATION DATES. Saw food that expired a year ago on their shelves. I mentioned it to someone there, but they seemed pretty disinterested.
