A nice local grocery store even if you don't keep kosher. Much better prices than Cherry Valley; obviously not going to be as cheap as Aldi but very reasonable for New York. Good variety of general items in addition to the Ashkanazi specialty items.

Much improved and expanded selection since their early days, but take their meat “sell by” dates with a grain of salt, and cook day of purchase or day after, whatever it is stamped. More than once the chicken or flanken has smelled ripe even with a sell by date 4+ days in advance.
