Ms. Kionna is truly remarkable at what she does from knowing every child’s name to understanding each one’s unique needs. She’s a true leader in every sense, always compassionate.
Ms. Keah is the sunshine . Brings such incredible energy and warmth you can feel her love for the students the moment she walks into a room. She leads with so much grace and joy that kind of grace that just gives you security.

Even walking through the hallways, there’s something special in the air. You can feel the love not just from the teachers, but from every staff member. It’s clear that TLE chooses educators who genuinely love what they do, and it makes all the difference.

My youngest daughter with some physical issues became so strong with the yoga program and having access to an indoor gym area on cold days when the playground was not an option. “Amazing Gym.. The boxing classes with Jay “Lab0mba” and the Body Burnout classes with Pedro at the Riverdale Y are phenomenal. Their energy, motivation and dedication are the reason these classes are always packed. I honestly can’t go a day without being excited for the next class. They’ve made such a huge impact on the community and truly push everyone to be their best. The Y should definitely add more classes and different time slots because the demand is there!”

I practiced medicine for 50 years that included 2 years practicing adult medicine in the United States Public Health Service and 3 years as a resident in Ophthalmology. During those 5 years I had a regular weekly stint working as an Emergency Room physician at a very busy hospital. I retired from my private solo Ophthalmology practice after 44 years.
