Teitel Brothers is an incredible find and a true culinary treasure on Arthur Avenue, a genuine Bronx neighborhood shop that has been in business for over one hundred years. Stepping inside is like entering another world, a bustling place buzzing with shoppers. The array of specialty foods is dazzling and remarkable, offering a wide array of delectable items including cold cuts, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, cheeses, olives, pasta, tomatoes, and tomato sauce. They carry a lot of Italian specialities, both imported and domestic, with superb freshness and quality. Despite the rather small size and being very busy, everyone receives friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and personal attention. The staff is relaxed and easy-going, treating customers like royal guests, offering generous samples of meats and cheeses. The whole interaction and the well-oiled mechanism of the shop leaves customers with a smile. The shopping experience is heartwarming and fun, with an old-school ambiance enhanced by details like using waxed paper instead of plastic bags. The quality is superb and the cost is reasonable, making it an absolute must-visit destination for generations of Italians and food enthusiasts alike.

Favorite place since I was a child. Brought my kids here for decades, even though we had to drive 1.5 hrs to get there. I went to place an order recently and it said they weren’t taking any on their site. I hope all is well in one of the best places I have ever been in to shop

I want one time and everything was excellent. I don’t live in the Bronx. I live upstate New York, but I’ll be coming over to this place again. The people was polite, courtesy and understanding even when I was short by about three dollars this is all right thank you sir. I will come back. Have a good day.
