What an incredible find!!! We stepped into another world after visiting the Botanical Gardens. The array of specialty foods was dazzling. When we asked about some meats and cheeses to take home we were treated like royal guests. We were given tasted of prosciutto wrapped around freshly made ricotta drizzled with the best tasting balsamic vinegar ever. It was like taking a private food tour of Little Italy. The quality was superb and the cost was reasonable but the bast was the ambiance. Don't miss a visit to this store that has been in business for over one hundred years!!

Obviously this place needs no reviews, it's buzzing with shoppers, but nevertheless I would give it a solid 5 star rating.A lot of Italian specialities, imported and domestic. Great variety of olives. I found one of my favorite pasta - Fregola Sarda here. ❤❤❤ It's not readily available in every store.Despite rather small size and being full with customers everyone will get personal attention. I loved the fact that instead of plastic bags for the cuts they use old school waxed paper. Mother Earth is grateful. My whole interaction with Michael and observation of the well oiled mechanism of the way the shop works left me with the smile on my face for the rest of the day. Thanks .

I’ve been a few times over the past few years. Decent quality and selection of meats and cheese. They’ll allow you to sample certain things before you commit. However, the staff is SUPER unwelcoming and not into explaining what anything is, giving recommendations, etc. They’ll just ask you what you want, wrap it up and cash you out - even when the store isn’t busy. They all seem like they just don’t want to be bothered. They asked my sister who was visiting NYC to leave her baby carriage (along with a sleeping baby) outside the store because there wasn’t a lot of space -_-There’s a lot of other establishments in the area with far better customer service.

The shop was very busy on a Friday evening before New Year. We waited in line patiently. I gingerly asked a question about a cheese, expecting a quick response or being ignored. The person helped us was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and relaxed. I was surprised by how easy going and relaxed he was among this busy shopping hours. In addition to helping us, he also answered questions about pricing of various items from colleagues and customers. He offered us 4 different cheeses, each in a big chunk, for sampling. It tuned out he used to be a chef. His name is Mike. I walked away thinking this is exactly the place I want to visit, a genuine Bronx NY neighborhood shop: friendly, well stock, fresh good quality product. And most of all, the shopping experience makes it heart warming and fun because I really miss the NY friendliness and good “attitude”.

They’re not friendly at all. The way they pack customers cheeses and sausage in a dry paper bag is horrible. I had suggested to them to get containers and they said it’s not healthy. I have being in food business for 35 years with licensing and several food certifications and I was top,of the line successful . I sold all kinds of cheeses from All over the world and co cuts and anything you can imagine in beautiful containers . You ask for a receipt and they put the total in a paper bag. I didn’t purchase anything from this place. I walked out. I am now happily retired. I would not recommend to any of my friends of families to this place.

First time in this place one kilo of each two kinds of cheeseThe cheese is great. But watch out for the guy by the register, when I asked for 2 cans of tomatoes D.O.P he ran over and stuffed 2 cans in my bag that was severely dented and rust all around the cans I did not notice till I got got home. My fault I should of looked before I paid. I did not like his face or mannerism to begin with. This should of tiped me off.So he used me as a garbage pail for this store. Will never shop in this store again or my club membersOf Son's of Italy ?? in Long Island chapter. Can't give less than one star or I would give it 0 stars. Also my friend who is Polish tried to communicate with another sales person on the other end while I was receiving my items and all he did was raising his voice at him because he was not quite sure how to say Italian items in english, He tried his best to ask what he wanted. Not a single person in that store holds credentials for customer service.

Amazing Italian grocer in The Bronx steeped in history and offering a wide array of imported Italian goods. Their staff is always helpful and extremely knowledgeable. The family-run shop may be small, but it's packed with goods and offers everything you could possibly need from pasta to cured meats, cheeses, olives and olive oil, and a lot more. A definite must if you're in the neighborhood or looking for authentic Italian foods.

There's deli and then there's Teitel Brothers Deli. Fresh, amazing and family neighborhood oriented! Usually a line but can you blame them? The best!

This place takes charcuterie boards to the next level! Their selection of Artigiano cheeses are outstanding. Not to mention their cold cuts (deli meats to non New Yorkers), olives, imported everything Italian, baccalao and dried beans. You will not find their selection anywhere else. Family owned since 1915. Their staff is friendly and has a vast knowledge of their products. If you wanna make a good impression at your next gathering shop here!
