Tropical Pets is a very good pet store in the Bronx, considered the best by many. The animals, including nice fish and adorable finches, are well taken care of and really healthy. The staff is very polite, helpful, and knowledgeable, providing awesome service. They have anything you want regarding pets, from animals to supplies and cages. While prices are average, the animals are very worth it. Customers recommend researching before purchase for the animals' well-being and give a 100% recommendation to visit this place.
Not a wide selection of fish. Fish that are there look stressed. Reptiles that shouldn't be co-housed together like Bearded Dragons are in the same enclosure. This can cause physical health risks to both beardies, as they're very territorial. The space itself is also very small, there isn't much shoulder room to go around.
