I’ve been a Verizon customer for a few years now and I can honestly say this story is obviously the worst this Store is incredibly racist if you’re not Dominican Latino Hispanic, you will get the worst service and in the Bronx all the staff from miserable and don’t want be at work Everyone has an attitude which ever manager fostered this environment needs to be ashamed because this is the worst staff in the Bronx.

The staff was very unprofessional. They didn’t even greet us, and my sister and I were the only ones there. I have insurance and needed help with an issue, but they told me to call on the phone as if they couldn’t assist in person. It must be nice to sit, listen to music, and get paid to do absolutely nothing.

MAJOR CON- There’s not a single Black Customer Service Rep. The only Black people working there are the security guards. Why is this Verizon? Don’t you think your business should reflect the community as a whole? And why is the Total service being promoted only in Spanish as far as your commercials? Don’t you value Black customers as well? What explanations do you have for this?
Pro-I was able to pay my bill effortlessly using the Kiosk. With the help of one of the security guards. He provided excellent customer service.

I came to this store on 9/21 to purchase a new phone because mine got the ring of death that morning. I confirmed that they had the phone in stock online and through Verizon customer service, whom also verified that the phone I wanted was in stock. I arrived at the store to purchase the phone and I was greeted by the woman manager, she asked me what I needed and I told her. She confirmed the stock of the phone and she passed me on to an employee to assist. I just wanted to buy the phone not change my plan or add a line. I guess the manager thought I wanted a new wireless line. The helpful employee was trying to do everything he can to get me the phone but the manager wouldn’t sell me one after I told her I didn’t want to open a new line. She told the employee to tell me I would not be able to do an “upgrade” a device without adding a line to my business plan because they cannot activate my phone since it is not working. I told her I do not need her to activate the phone I just wanted her to sell me the phone. I can activate it in my office with Verizon sending the verification to my email instead of my phone which is inoperable. To which she then said, “do you see all these customers phone is no longer in stock”. No one looked up my account or anything so it’s not like there was some sort of hold on the account or anything of that nature and even if there was they didn’t look into it to be able to see it. The actions of the manager is a disgrace to Verizon usual outstanding service and tarnishes the Verizon name. The manager is rude and not helpful all she wants to do is drive numbers, rob people and take advantage. That is not how you provide customer service. Funny thing is I went to the store in cross county and got the phone in 20 minutes with an upgrade. Get rid of her, your store would be better without her attitude.

09/01/2024 - Second time using their online services to order another phone. I selected this Verizon store to pick up the new phone. I selected to place the order for locker pickup and thankfully I did because this Verizon was busy. The staff were busy conversing with their customers. I was in and out this Verizon store in about two minutes by ordering for the new phone via the locker pickup method. Parking near front for specific times and days. Also nearby parking also that is limited, timed, and tight. Some buses stop also in front of the store.

Service is mid and how come customer service is on the other side of the world ? Why did it take 15 minutes to get internet connection. I didnt even get a notification saying their were connection issues. Maybe i need to go back to basic cable

In the store as I type, and I wouldn't be given such a crappy review. If I didn't feel brushed off and dismissed by the workers I encountered. I came to pick up a phone that was purchased online, after multiple mishaps with Verizon and shipping. When I entered the store I received my phone and asked if they were able to assist me with putting on a screen protector they informed me that they would charge me 30 if they did. So I did it myself in the store. After the phone needed to be set up. I informed the worker that an activation fee of 75 was already charged with the purchase of my phone they proceeded to tell me I should call customer service they'll help me set up the phone. Why would I do that when I'm literally standing in the store talking to a representative. Then the worker Jonel proceeds to walk away. I had to approach him multiple times to try and get assistance, and finally fed up a Supervisor named Ana approaches and ask me to move so that they can service another customer. I refused so she proceeds to tell me on top of the activation fee already paid online, if I want the phone set up I will need to pay 30 dollars. Over the b.s. I stated the former worker should've said that instead of telling me to call customer service and brushing me off, and that it should be covered in the activation fee I already paid. In all I ended up paying more money and encountering some of the most unprofessional workers I've encountered in a while. I do not recommend this location or this service. I plan on switching soon.

That happened to me, I went to find out about the prices for internet for home because I wanted to change service because Optimum is very expensive, but when I was the person who attended, he treated me without importance, he did not pay attention to me, he thought that I could not use his service, I was very disappointed with the treatment without giving me value.
