“Amy at RB Fitness is the literal best! I’ve been training with her for about 2 months and it’s been bittersweet! She’s someone who pushes you and motivates you to keep aspiring toward your goal. “I love it here. I receive detailed and precise technique on the barbell and dumbell and kettlebell exercises (as well as the weight equipment ). “Love this place. My membership is strictly for access to the gym not for the classes. The space itself is well kept and very open. It is perfect for a workout. I enjoy the easy access into the gym, simply open the door with my cellphone and get to work. I go in the early mornings and usually have the space all to myself and my tunes.Also Eoghan is awesome, he designed specific strength programs to improve my strength for my jujitsu training. I have nothing but positive things to say about Uptown Movement it is a really great place with wonderful people.”

“I’ve been training with coach Phil for over 4 years and there is no place I’d rather be when I’m working out. He really works with each of his clients to meet their personal needs even when it’s a group workout. Through the pandemic he accommodated his clients the best way he could to make it work. I was truly impressed by how he kept everything together. Even post surgeries I had, he made the workouts fit whatever my body was going through. Whether it’s just a workout for you, or you’re looking to do it with a friend or your children I would recommend his studio and classes to everyone.”

“EDIT: I haven't been attending classes in maybe over a month, consistently. Which, is OK! Everyone's life journey is different. LET ME TELL YOU. Just, keep going and never give up on the exercises! Even when your body is shaking, keep GOING. My latest class REALLY opened up my hip flexors-and it was great! (From the kicking)From 11 months ago:I had gone to my first class yesterday, and it was so exciting! The fact that this place exists in the Bronx is such a blessing. Upon walking in, I was greeted by Ms. Debbie. she was super kind and friendly! My instructor yesterday was Marcy. With her class for today, we HIIT the bag. I've never had the opportunity to consistently hit a punching bag several times in a row!! And, wow, yesterday's workout made me sweat like I've never done before! Hitting the bag consistently really has to do with endurance. The whole experience was super exiliarating and I already want to go back! We did a few ab exercises also, and a light stretch at the end.There are SO many punching bags! I like that there is also other workout equipment in the rear of the gym. Perfect for the variety of different classes they offer. A great asset to this community.”

“JDI is different. JDI makes powerlifters. JDI helps build the confidence that you don't get at a commercial gym. It's a small family, and that's beautiful. I started using the bar because of JDI. I no longer fear heavy weight; I no longer fear the barbell;I no longer worry about not being able to lift. JDI also has a community of girls who lift and empower each other through friendship and every lift. Once a month, the Strong Gurls Club gets together and has an event which I look forward to. The best part of my experience is not only am I getting stronger, but my mental health has done a 180, and that's priceless for me. free endorphins!!!!”

“I must say that I did not think that this would work, but I was pleasantly surprised. I booked an hour session with Jesus Andrade. After a short interview of questioning my needs and medical background, Jesus started to stretch, pull, massage and release many of my areas of concern. I have suffered from years of sciatica. Jesus not only released the tension in my back, legs and glutes, he also showed me some stretches that I could do at home to alleviate the pain. During the session, I even heard a snap, which Jesus described as a release. After that, I felt increase amounts of comfort. Jesus is very professional. He is constantly checking with you to see if the pressure is too much or too little and making adjustments along the way. I would highly recommend his services. Keep it up Jesus.”

There are maybe two (non consecutive) hours out of the whole day where I can get access to all the equipment that I intend to use.Otherwise, it's improvising a 'Plan B' workout. Or doing a lot of waiting for the equipment I actually want.”

“Excellent crossfit gym with high quality equipment and great coaching. It’s always plus with crossfit that during group sessions you’re not only told what to do but how to do it. The team are great at getting this message across, allowing you to get stronger or move more efficiently.Workouts are built to cater for those who are heavily experienced and for absolute beginners.Highly recommend crossfit, highly recommend Maxability!—Little update, been following class programming and after 5 months with the team I’ve reached personal bests on bench press, handstand walking (which I could never do before) and over head squatting. It works!”

“Mr. Belmar he is the one taught me Muay Thai and Boxing it helps me confidence, against bully. I want to learn Muay Thai and get in shape. Mr. Belmar said if I am not seeing him I should practice at least 1 hour and do battle rope, light weightlifting so you won't injured your back. I am doing Private training every Saturday in afternoon.”
