Albemarle Food Center is a family-run corner deli and neighborhood store in Brooklyn, described as a Kensington gem. It is known for incredible sodas, snacks, and out-of-sight sandwiches made with the freshest ingredients and softest bread. The coffee is top notch, super fresh, delicious, always hot, and strong but not bitter. The staff is the sweetest, kindest, and most courteous, with a heart of gold. They are super friendly, know everyone’s names and orders, and provide the best customer service, always with a smile. The food is delicious and very affordable. A manager named Leo, an orange bodega cat, adds to the welcoming atmosphere. It can be swamped with energetic elementary schoolers and tired parents on weekday afternoons, but it remains the best neighborhood store around.
Love this place. Hung out here during a nor'easter while waiting for a ride home. Guy was friendly and the selection of junk food is elite. Lots of people were in and out so I imagine the food stays pretty fresh due to turnover.

I've known Moe and his family since they opened. Not only do they make the best sandwiches and coffee, but they are the nicest people. Moe's is the funniest and most positive guy I know, he makes everyone's day better. Always enjoy walking in there and chilling with Moe, Wady, Angel and Orlando.
