8702 4th Ave, Brooklyn“Best place in the area to buy produce! Lots of seasonal and exotic fruits, I get to eat fresh lychee all summer from here. Great prices on fruit and lots of sales so I can stock up and freeze extras. They also have an in-house butcher but sometimes they don’t do the best job at cutting the meats. Still, good prices on meat and I still buy it from here if I’m short on time. Good snack and instant noodle selection as well, I rarely go to supermarkets because Uncle Steve’s already has just about everything!”
“Wow what a small but mighty store. Great selection of produce and a ton of bulk offerings. Bulk olive oil and canola oil, kombucha, spices, a ton of different dried fruits and nuts and flours. Friendly and welcoming staff! It seems they discount and even make their past best by dates perishables free, love to see it. Not sure if I can see myself joining but might be worth it for the bulk supplies such as shampoo, conditioner, and various soaps as well as the food items mentioned above. 3 word summary: Organic, local, affordable”
“I think they need to go down on the prices. This store was opened about 40 Years ago. Made for people that have a large family, A Rebbe or someone that learns in Kollel. The prices the was unbelievable cheap to according the Local stores. It's time to bring this store back and help out the local Family's.”

445 Gold St, Brooklyn“It's become part of our ritual to come here since its opening in 2017 to buy fruits, snacks, and drinks whenever we visited Brooklyn and stayed at the hotels nearby. The familiar TJ standard store layout made it easy for us to find what we needed quickly. The staff were unfailingly friendly and courteous, ensuring pleasant shopping experience. For us visiting from California, the pace at this store felt like it's on steroid, especially on busy Sundays. With a clerk perched high up to direct customer traffic to the nearly 30 check out stations, the choreography of this amazingly efficient checkout system was a sight to behold.”

Easy enough , somewhat enjoyable, often educational .”

They have some of the best nuts I’ve ever tried (especially their roasted almonds and cashews), huge fan of the Turkish apricots and their figs are always soft. They have a great selection of spices, Ayurvedic medicines, and grains & legumes. I also buy their rotis and love making wraps with them. As a home cook they stock my kitchen! And the staff are always very helpful, if you’re looking for something in particular or have an ailment that you need a remedy for.”
