“Eli is amazing. only guy in the area with integrity, and he used to teach mechanics that's how much he knows about cars. I asked him why I leak oil and he listed 5 possible causes in detail, and in a friendly and instructive way, and didn't start in on a hard sale. Look into his eyes, you will want him to be your mechanic, and your dad.”

“A business exist to make money. Not there to provide free service giving you quarters. I don't get why people think others should have a meaningless conversation with you. Do you damn banking and leave. With that said, low balance requirements, free checks, no lines to wait, competitive interest, LONG hour, open sunday. Lastly, the only place with a coin counting machines. Screw you TD bank. Give up your "convenient" title over”

“The ATM component has been open, since Covid happened - used to be a full service bank, but that closed once the pandemic came. You can still withdraw/deposit funds here.”

“Raquel Brice was my credit solutions officer at the Crown Heights branch of Bank of America in Brooklyn. Her customer service was excellent. She was thorough and professional. English is my second language but she was very patient and made sure that I understood everything I needed to know. She made me happy that I chose Bank of America and I highly recommend working with her.”

“I ordered donuts and munchkins from this place and I love them but sometimes they are so dry and hard.I also love coffee from them, they always get it right and it's very good. The service lady is always unavailable and doesn't listen to my order sometimes so the service is kind of rude. The ambience is always quiet and almost no people there the whole day.”

“An old location bank. Originally the South Brooklyn Savings Bank and now finally Santander after several change of ownership. Where use to be in the a line of tellers, you can only see an average of three. A large fair empty bank with original marble decor still in place. Lines are short but slow. Safe deposit boxes available in the back. Very subdued atmosphere. People do most of their transactions at the ATMs.”

“My current checking account with Bank of America was opened in Texas way back in 1992 when they were still NationsBank - that's an oversimplification of the merger that happened but you get the gist. My financial life has had its ups and downs (heavy on the downs, if I'm being honest) over these last 31 years, and this ol' checking account has seen it all. I have been pretty ambivalent about Bank of America over these years. The service was never remarkable but also never terrible. Because I never had much reason to call or set foot in a branch beyond the ATM, there was no need to change anything. I did have a short lived and somewhat misguided tryst with Captial One last year, but their decidedly dreadful customer service chased me right back to the familiar arms of Bank of America. Lately, though, Bank of America seems to be working to improve its relationship with its customers and I'm feeling happier and happier with my decision to stick with them for my banking. It started last summer when they dropped their overdraft fees. Sure, they never should have been charging them in the first place, but I was really pleased to see that they stopped. Okay, now the thing that has inspired me to review a bank. A couple of weeks ago I got a call from Alex, the relationship manager at this branch of the bank. He was just reaching out to see if I had any questions or needed help with anything. I did just open up a small business account recently, so maybe that inspired the call. Either way, this is some personal service I have not come to expect from any bank, much less one of the major ones. I made an appointment to come in and just talk about my accounts, and see if there was anything I was missing or anything they could offer in terms of services. I met with Alex for 30 minutes or so to discuss my business and personal accounts, and then he handed me off to Bryan, a financial services advisor with Merrill to talk about my retirement account I had recently set up. Both of these guys were totally friendly, non-judgmental about my financial illiteracy, and completely chill in general in talking about B of A and where my banking fit into the services they offer. I always talk about how surprised I am by the "small town" feeling I get living in Brooklyn, and now here's a branch location of one of the big three banks going out of their way to give Mayberry vibes, Andy Griffith style. I really hope to see B of A continue to move in this direction and I plan on sticking around with them for as long as I can.”
