“I’m a newer car owner, and this was my first time getting a detail — Williamsburg Hand Wash & Auto Detailing has officially set the bar sky-high!
I called for a same-day appointment, and Kevin was incredibly kind and thorough in explaining all my options. When I arrived, I decided to upgrade from a basic wash to a full detail, and the team went above and beyond, even staying late so I wouldn’t have to come back another day. That alone earned my loyalty for life!
When I picked up my car, I was STUNNED — it looked better than when I bought it. Kevin patiently answered all my (many!) questions (most of which were unrelated to the detail service, and more about general car maintenance), walked me through everything they did, and shared great advice on how to keep it looking new.
As a woman new to car ownership, I really appreciated how honest, helpful, and welcoming everyone was. No upselling, no jargon. Just genuine service and amazing results. I’ll definitely be back and will be recommending them to everyone I know.

I came in to have a integrated rear view mirror / dash cam installed. This is something I *could* have done myself but not NEARLY as well. These guys were fast and did an impeccable job. I never could have installed it so cleanly and professionally. Also, when I turned the car back on the rear light wasn't working. This could have been a case where fingers were pointed and grumbling happened. That was not the case with dub citi...they took the customer first approach of just fixing it and sending me on my way. If you are on the fence about using a professional or doing the work yourself, look no further than Dub citi”

“I meet Chang while riding a citybike. He was in a nice looking 80s BMW. Stopped at a red light,I flagged him. When he rolled down his window.
I asked, who works on your car?
He said, I do. He told me he has a shop on 293 Bond St in Gowanas Brooklyn.
I told him i had a 85 BMW 745i. I asked if he knew anything about these old BM's. He said yes. I told him I'd come check him out and I did. I'd soon discovered Chang is a Excellent Mechanic Body, Paint Specialist. An Expert Welder and Restoration Guy.
He works on vintage Aflas Saabs Range's Porsche's BMW's Bezs Toyotas Hondas Nissans Minis anything you can think of he's seen and worked on successfully. I've seen rust buckets restored to factory spec. In a day where people will tell you anything to get a buck.I attest, He is a Man of his Word. I give him 5 STARS He's an Excellent Mechanic who has Excellent Customer Service with the skills to get the job done at a reasonable cost.
I wouldn't go anywhere else.”

“I am sorry for the people that had a bad experience in this place because for me, it was 10/10 service. The workers greeted me with respect and kindness right away. I was referred here by a friend, so it was my first time and, sometimes, we just put up this defensive wall, but I don't regret coming here one bit. I came because of leakage in my tire. They inspected it, told me what was wrong, and fixed it within 15 minutes. They gave me the choice of a new tire or patching, to which I chose the new tire. I didn't feel pressured or forced. The price was definitely fair and reasonable for the service. The brothers, Al and Moe, talked to me about the other services they can do for my Mustang while the tire was being fixed and, again, didn't feel forced. To me, I appreciate the humility. Can't speak for others but with me, it was professional with a hint of personal business. To Al and Moe, if you read this, you got yourself a new customer! Tints and seats are up next! “I came in for a regular car wash. After the wash the guys noticed a splatter on the rear door. It hadn’t come out. They re-washed the car. It was still there. They then offered to buff out the door and some other spots — and only charged me a nominal amount. These guys are caring, professional and outcome-oriented. I’d give them six stars if I could. They arrived on time, explained their process, patiently went over their options (I chose Deluxe, highly recommend) and proceeded to take the next two hours detailing the car patiently and meticulously. “I was a permanent customer with a membership card. I liked a quality of the carwash despite it's kind of far away from my home. Everytime I was spending from $32 till $47(silver&golden packages) including tips. And when the card has leftover 2 or 3 carwash to get a free carwash, on the cashier told me that its under new management and card not working anymore. It's feels like you got tricked, especially I was driving alk the way from Brighton Beach Area. I hope the new management will do something about, because otherwise it's no sense to come all the way here, when a few carwash around the area I live.

“Needed to get my oil changed after my recent move to NY. Expected to just get the oil changed and be on my way but not only did they change my oil, they gave me a full car wash, with vacuuming of the interior, for free with the oil change. I’ve had a pesky tire check light on since I bought the car four years ago. I had taken it to the dealership and other maintenance places and alas nothing, they just told me it would turn off eventually. I get back in my car after my car wash and oil change and the light is OFF for the first time ever. And all this only cost me $74.99. I will absolutely be coming back here.”

“I'd been looking for a local shop to take my car for a while, but with the sheer number it was difficult to decide until I came across Salerno. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful, which makes a huge difference for me. I also did not feel like they assumed I know nothing about cars (which is often the case as a woman until I start talking about what I DO know). They were very quick to look at what was needed, gather the parts, and the next day get the car done same-day. I find the prices to be very reasonable, especially compared to what the dealer quoted me for the same exact repair. Salerno was also way more thorough than the dealer on looking at what I pinpointed as concerns, and fixed exactly what I suspected was the issue. I'll note that I pointed out the same exact issue to the dealer, and it was absolutely overlooked. Definitely will be taking my car to Salerno for all future repairs!
Edit to add: When I first came in, I had my dog with me, and everyone loved him - he even got his weight in treats from the guys!”
