“Wonderful stationary/gift shop off 5th Ave! The staff at this location makes the visit worth it alone. I live in NJ, and was near the Bergen area, and was in the market for some small gifts. I much prefer this sort of establishment to a large big box retailer, not only due to the variety of product, but due to the locality and community aspects of the brand. Definitely stop by Annie’s Blue Ribbon General Store if you’re looking for a Brooklyn Gift Shop for cards or stationary needs in New York. Worth your time and money 5/5. “Incredibly friendly staff! I bought a dresser from them after finding it on their site while moving and they held it for me until I could pick it up. The dresser was in great shape when picked up (all defects and dents were disclosed to me which some vintage stores do not do ahead of time) and I am super happy with it. I wish I had space for everything in their store. Will be going back for smaller items soon.”

“I was on the hunt for Pokémon cards throughout the city and stumbled upon this little shop! It was a pleasant surprise, I grew up going to a lot of mom and pop shops in Queens so this store felt like a warm return to my childhood. The woman who helped me (who I’m also assuming is the owner) was so kind. She complimented my tote bag and asked where I got it (it was a Pikachu tote bag). I asked to see her selection of Pokémon cards and she brought out everything she had. I noticed they were priced a little on the high end but the shop and her warm personality won my heart over. I’m always willing to help a small shop out even if it means spending a couple more bucks!! The store was cash only, I didn’t have enough on me so I walked to Chase which was 9 minutes away. She told me there was an ATM next door butttt I’m kind of anti ATM in a random location that’s not a bank lololol. She waited patiently for me to come back and ahhh I don’t know our interaction and the shop itself warmed my heart. I ended up buying three items and got some good hits!!! She was just too kind. I didn’t get to ask her name but if you or a family member ever reads this just know you were my favorite part of my day!! I went to a bunch of other toy/card shops in Brooklyn/Queens and NONE of them made me feel as welcomed and appreciated as your store did!!
