The Holiday Inn Brooklyn Downtown offers an inexpensive and conveniently located stay near subway stations, providing easy access to Manhattan. Reviews on the rooms and service are mixed. Positive notes highlight a big and very comfortable bed, cute and comfy rooms with hot showers, and a nice, quiet atmosphere despite city sounds. The staff is described as fun and friendly. However, negative experiences report the place as dirty and gross, with issues like stained sheets, unclean towels, scattered hair, non-functional outlets, and sometimes unwelcoming staff. While some find it a serviceable spot for the price and location, others strongly advise checking the room thoroughly upon arrival.
Older hotel with a decent lobby, good rooms and bathrooms. It’s in a good location near plenty of stores and restaurants.

This was our first stay here. They are doing work so you couldn't drive into the garage. The valet was not good, I couldn't find the person and I obviously interrupted his phone call. The bathroom shower floor was dirty and there was only one light in the room that worked.
