Kuraichi is a shop with an unbeatable and very nice selection of sake and other Japanese liquor, curated for both novice and seasoned drinkers. It carries varying types, including a large selection of umeshu and kosher options. The staff is excellent, knowledgeable, kind, and very willing to help customers find something. The owner is amazing and looks to help you find what you were looking for or suggest something you may have not considered. They offer tastings and are not just a shop trying to use up old inventory. Visitors highly recommend this store in Brooklyn.
A must for any sake, soju, or shochu fan. It’s on the pricey side but the selection is incredible and very well-curated. Staff is super helpful as well. They have a few options for Japanese gins, whisky, and other spirits.

Stopped by here after visiting Sunrise Mart nearby. Staff here was very informative and they had a great selection of sake at very reasonable prices. I also like that they keep the more sensitive sakes refrigerated. Would definitely return.

I wanted to get a bottle of sake as a gift and the employees here are very helpful, I was offered samples to taste before I purchased and was guided through the inventory to get an idea of the selection. They have a wide range of pricing and unique inventory. Highly recommended 10/10
