Malko Brothers Co. is a wonderful gem of a store that feels like another country, but very inviting. It is a 100+ year old local family import dynasty with a space filled with beautiful scents. The owners and people inside are so kind, friendly, and warm with kind smiles, excited to share culture and knowledge, making it feel right at home. The store carries many authentic items that would make great gifts. It has the best prices on bulk spices, nuts like awesome Syrian pistachios, and dried fruits such as Turkish figs, many kinds of dates, and superfood dried mulberries. Customers can also find luxe and plentiful teas stored in large glass jars, along with spices, herbs, snacks, pastries, small grocery items, tahini, great honey, and labneh. The selection includes inlaid wood objects, musical instruments, and other handmade works you would find in a Syrian or East Jerusalem souk. It is a welcoming place to learn something and find items from childhood. Please note there are cats in the store.

The loveliest service…it’s like getting a hug from your grandparents when you walk in. Great prices on nuts, fruits and Middle Eastern specialties. The baked goods are beyond delicious and the Syrian pistachios!!!!

This place is an A+ on all accounts. The owners are friendly and loving with old school Syrian values. The product is super fresh whether it be nuts or spices. The prices are very affordable. Do not waste your time buying any of these goods at the 2 stores across the street.
