Mount Prospect Park is a nice big park with a great playground for kids. The playground is pretty good-sized and includes a splash pad with a water-spraying seal, tire swings, and regular swings. There are public restrooms available. The park offers a lovely spot for a family picnic, safe kid biking, or just to relax. The park is also very dog-friendly and sees a lot of cute dogs, though some reviews note a problem with dogs being off their leashes. The paths are bumpy and patched but are undergoing repaving for bicycle riding and rollerblading. The lawn and grass areas need some work and are partly dirt patches, which is attributed to great community use. While not particularly well-maintained apart from the playground, it remains a place where families have a lot of fun.
