“Bushwick Bark is amazing. In front you have a pet store that has all your pets needs. From toys to food they even carry clothes, beds and food bowls. Pretty much everything in one place. In the back on Sundays they hold a cat adoption event from 12-4 pm. From kittens to seniors and even cats with special needs. I adopted my cat Finnegan here, at the time it was $125 which included first round of shots, microchip and when he became a little older Chris picked up my cat to have him neutered. The staff at Bushwick Bark are friendly, helpful and caring. I would definitely recommend anyone who has a pet to come a pay them a visit. **The adoption event is held by three different organizations not Bushwick Bark**”

Bonus points that the aisles are wide enough for my stroller to go down! I'm terrified of traffic in the Dumbo area, and I was able to find a day-glo orange harness for a tiny quadroped pal. VERY reasonable prices (a comparable harness was $10 more at Petco). I also found dog food of the type I have NEVER seen before and a pup pal of mine really seems to have enjoyed it. Photo below.Michael, the proprietor, is also a master pet groomer. While I did not need those services, it's clear he has a nice rapport with our furry friends.”

The owner takes personal care to get what you need quickly if they don't have it in stock (like the live baby brine shrimp and live worms I needed for my baby axolotls) and is very communicative, answering all questions and requests. I used to only go to the Petco down the street but it's a corporate giant and not always the best service whereas this pet store is always friendly, clean and very helpful! Definitely prefer giving my money to a small business who does amazing job! 👏🏼”

We stopped in shortly after moving to New York City to pick up supplies for our three cats, and the staff was incredibly helpful in answering questions and helping us find what we needed.
