By the Manhattan Bridge in DUMBO, Superfine's kitchen turns out cuisine that would fit in just as well on the shores of the Mediterranean. Unlike what is often the case in Manhattan, there's plenty of room to stretch out here, as Superfine resides in a former warehouse space. The ceilings soar, and there's even a pool table. The food is seasonal and the menu changes frequently, but swing by and you may have the chance to sample starters like the three bruschetta combination: crab salad, prosciutto-melon-Gorgonzola, and tomato-basil; or the grilled marlin skewers with scallions, tomato and fennel. Entrées are similarly rustic; if it's available, the steak au poivre with Superfine fries and a house salad is a good choice. Brunches can be a madhouse, but they are a good time to try the burger and the Southwestern favorites that aren't available during the week.
