Based on the reviews, The Twisted Spine is a phenomenal store with a phenomenal assortment of books and a creative layout by subgenre. The dim lighting and dark paint make the space feel incredibly cozy and comforting, in an eerie haunted house way. There is a backyard with plentiful seating, a clean restroom, and a cafe with an excellent drinks menu, local baked goods, wine, and beer. The non book merch is very cute, including pins, cards, stickers, jewelry, socks, and tees. The staff are warm, welcoming, and ready to find titles. The selection is perfectly curated to every horror/dark literature lover’s dream. The coffee is fabulous, and the outdoor space is beautiful. The vibes are immaculate, with a dark themed atmosphere and super awesome vibes.

This store is very dimly keeps to keep the horror/ gothic vibe. They have a large selection of gothic and horror books with a small cafe that features really cute skull mugs. They have creative coffees like vampire kiss and pink velvet.

Great selection of beer and wine if you want a stop to hang for a moment. Spent a good time looking through all the curated tables of books.
