Based on the reviews, The Twisted Spine is a phenomenal store with a phenomenal assortment of books and a creative layout by subgenre. The dim lighting and dark paint make the space feel incredibly cozy and comforting, in an eerie haunted house way. There is a backyard with plentiful seating, a clean restroom, and a cafe with an excellent drinks menu, local baked goods, wine, and beer. The non book merch is very cute, including pins, cards, stickers, jewelry, socks, and tees. The staff are warm, welcoming, and ready to find titles. The selection is perfectly curated to every horror/dark literature lover’s dream. The coffee is fabulous, and the outdoor space is beautiful. The vibes are immaculate, with a dark themed atmosphere and super awesome vibes.

I am obsessed with this place. No detail was left unturned: the vibes are immaculate, the selection is perfectly curated to every horror/dark literature lover’s dream, and the staff is always welcoming. Not to mention the coffee is fabulous! Twisted Spine is a gem.
