People at the counter always have an attitude. Don't give them a hard time. They don't want to talk to you, but they have to

I came to this branch recently and received attitude from the two African American ladies at windows 1 and 2. I thought that maybe it was because I was inexperienced and slow, and they were having a bad day. But after reading these reviews... I guess it's an everyday occurrence. I approached the windows with a smile and was respectful, and they did not reciprocate that at all. They remained indifferent and uninterested throughout the whole interaction. I am unfamiliar with mailing items, so I asked some (simple) questions. The way they responded made me feel like I was the dumbest person ever. They didn't help me with my package at all, and I felt judged instead. Even when I said thank you to leave, there was no warmth in their response. This is my experience as a young adult that can speak English. I can't imagine how some older adults that can't speak English well felt when facing these employees. I hope I never have to return a package here again.

I had the mailman falsey mark package as delivered and got turned away in person by the lady working there, don't bother calling they don't pick up the phones, and in person they just told me they are too busy to pick them up and too busy to send me email or anything i find that hard to belive.

By far the worst post office full of lazy workers.

You would think employers would have stricter requirements of their employees. However at this USPS location, not only are the employees unable to communicate with their customers in their local language, they are rude and unhelpful as well. Furthermore their service is slow with the staff often berating and insulting customers for not understanding what they're saying. Communication should be a more required asset when hiring employees who interact with customers.

One of the clerks is extremely rude to anyone who even asks a question. And I keep getting charged for packages that don't even weigh an ounce because they sneakily added fees without asking for my permission.

This location is so ridiculous. People who work here DO NOT want to work… Everytime I go with prepaid labels, the customer service is unacceptable. One time I went, they said they can’t take my packages and that I have to go to a closer location to where I live meanwhile I live 30mins walk from that location. Shouldn’t I be able to drop it off at any USPS location? When I ask for a receipt for the packages, they ignored my request and not give me anything…Then again anytime I went with prepaid label packages, they said the labels were from 3 days ago(which is not true, even if so, they still can take it), that I have to get new labels. THEY ARE PREPAID! No other locations gives such a hard time…. What they are doing here is AGAINST THEIR POLICY…

The African-American woman wearing glasses at this USPS location was extremely rude and unprofessional. She made no effort to explain anything, was not helpful at all, and simply ignored customers while talking on the phone the entire time. Completely unacceptable service.

A lot of people try really hard to be nice to the workers but the courtesy is rarely returned. Most of the front desk workers at this location treat customers poorly. As someone previously mentioned, they are quite responsive when it comes to issues that you raise online. They're pretty timely on calling you in regard to those. Try not to go in person unless it's unavoidable.

Not even God can save this place.
As someone who’s lived in the area for 20 years, I rarely interact with this post office, but when I do, it’s always because something has gone wrong. My packages—whether from Amazon, eBay, or elsewhere—are often misdelivered next door or falsely marked as “delivered” when they clearly aren’t. I suspect this is sometimes done to meet quotas, with delivery delayed to the next day and marked inaccurately.
Management has not improved this issue—if anything, it’s gotten worse over the last four years. Staffing is clearly reduced, morale is low, and urgency is nonexistent. I’ve seen workers abandon the counter for casual conversation while lines grow. The general manager has been here nearly a decade, and unfortunately, it shows—this isn’t a one-time fluke, it’s a pattern.
This location serves a largely minority and middle-class community, and sadly, it seems like no one—local or regional leadership—cares to fix it. If you don’t speak English or don’t know how to file an online service request, good luck. You’ll be taken advantage of. That said, if you do file a complaint online, they are surprisingly responsive. So there’s that.
Overall: Use this location only as a last resort. It needs serious help.

Had a bad experience with this post office. I came in there, it was empty, no customers. The African-American lady worker there ( I believe second window) was on her phone. I patiently waited, she did not react. I came closer to the window and greeted her, when she saw me she was annoyed and definitely showed it, no “hello”, no nothing, just rude. Question for the management of that post office: if the person very obviously does not like their job and can not do it properly, why are they still there?
