TERRIBLE! UNPROFESSIONAL!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Went to apply new passport for my parent on April HOWEVER, few weeks later received a letter stating the USPS clerk mass up their information sign on the wrong application! ! And today we went to submit application again. There is another passport clerk. (One and half hour wait) NO SURPRISE!! MISTAKES AGAIN!! She didn't sign one of the application and sealed. She didn't notice until I ask her why only one person sign but she already sealed two envelopes! AND OF COURSE she has her wireless headphones on and Iphone in front of her texting! !(The previous clerk also with headphones and phone on her desk chatting while helping us!)
And she charge us FEE today but the Letter from Passport Agency STATED on the letter no fees should be add!! And she said she will not mail our application if we don't pay for extra fees today! And tell us to ask the previous clerk to help not her why we go to her!! Why didn't we check the clerk personal schedule before coming! That's a cute question!
Shame on their work! How could unprofessional workers get higher pay with reckless work! PLEASE retrain your employee and FIRE those unprofessionals!

Forgot to leave a review here but I had great service here.
A package got redirected to this zip code/post office for some reason and kept bouncing between here and my home zip.
The manager was able to intercept it after a few days and I carried it away.
Super helpful, just be a little patient and have some helpful info for them. Some people here were remarkably rude.

My tracking number 9234690368766818316093I shows delivered in Mailbox.How a box fit in the mail box? So,its not delivered.
I vist 344 Avenue U, Brooklyn, NY 11223 branch just for pacakge lady ask tell me timing i said Jan 13 2025 at 5:17pm and i in a minute i go back at mailbox but there was no usps delivery person found she gave me a number and i tried make call multiple times but in vain.
I will never trust again on usps bcz according to me now they are not trustworthy.I will go some where else where j find Honesty.
How you can do that?

Very disrespectful, had a passport appointment at 1:15pm, arrived 5 minites early, let the lady at the counter know we were there. She just shut the window down in front of me and took off, didnt come back till 2.15 pm

I came to pick up a package as an authorized representative with a pink slip. The person at the counter said they needed both my ID and the recipient’s ID, even though the recipient was unable to come to the post office, hence why I was there in the first place.
It makes no sense why I would carry someone else’s personal legal identification documents when I’m the authorized representative. The pink slip also only instructs for the representative to have identification for pick up.
I asked for the person at the counter to redeliver my package and they said they would, but refused to give me a confirmation number. When I later called the USPS customer service line to confirm whether my package was scheduled for redelivery, the representative said it was not.
The person at the counter was operating by their own rules rather than USPS policies and lied about providing requested services. (This is the same person that reviewer Nick Marotta described in their Google review).
It’s unfortunate that this is the only post office in my zip code that holds packages and I have no choice but to continue going there. I hope USPS investigates this location.

I am writing to express a deep disappointment with one individual I dealt with at this location. During my visit, I interacted with an older Asian female employee who displayed behavior that was not only unhelpful but also demeaning and disrespectful.
As a younger individual seeking assistance with a simple matter—my change of address—I approached her politely, hoping for guidance. Instead, I was met with condescension, dismissive remarks, and an overall hostile demeanor that left me feeling belittled. She made me feel stupid and not worthy of her time. It was nearing closing time and she made it evident that she had already mentally clocked out.
This experience was both frustrating and disheartening. While I understand that everyone has off days, such behavior is unacceptable in a customer service role, particularly at a federal agency where professionalism and courtesy should be paramount.
No customer should feel dismissed or disrespected when seeking help, especially in a setting meant to serve the community.
