Terrible place. Not sure how tax dollars go to pay these people’s salary. What a waste of money. When they hire they must look for rude lazy people. Made an appointment for a passport and so did 3 other people they didn’t take any of us and made us all leave.

This place does not even deserve one star. The customer service is some of the worst I’ve ever seen. I made an appt for a passport, showed up on time, and they repeatedly told me I would be helped however no one ever came to the window and it took over 2.5hrs. Avoid this location at all costs. Lots of long lines and waiting with angry customers.

I am utterly disappointed with the abysmal service provided by this USPS post office. Our experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare.Initially, we visited the post office on a Monday around 2 PM to inquire about passport appointments, as we were told that no appointments were being taken and that walk-ins were only accommodated from Monday to Friday between 9:30 and 11:00 AM. So, we rearranged our schedules and took time off work and pulled our kids out of school to make it there on a Wednesday the following week within the specified time frame, only to be met with a different story. The staff informed us that they no longer accept walk-ins during the 9:30-11:00 AM window, completely contradicting what we were told earlier.Despite this setback, we managed to secure an appointment for the following week on a Saturday at 10:00 AM. However, upon arrival, the supervisor had the audacity to inform me that they wouldn't proceed until 10:00 AM and suggested that I leave for work while my wife stayed. But the ordeal didn't end there. When the clock struck 10:00, they refused to attend to us, claiming I wasn't present, and instructed us to return after work on Monday at 4 PM.Following their instructions, we visited the post office on Monday, only to be told that they wrap up operations by 3:30 PM. Despite the supervisor's promise, they refused to speak with us. This level of unprofessionalism is simply unacceptable. The entire team, including the supervisor, demonstrated a blatant disregard for customer service and professionalism. They treated us as if our time and commitments meant nothing, displaying a shocking lack of empathy or accountability. It's no wonder USPS is struggling and relies heavily on federal funding with such incompetent individuals at the helm.Furthermore, the discriminatory behavior we witnessed is appalling. While an Asian customer was accommodated for passport application, they blatantly refused to extend the same courtesy to us, citing irrelevant excuses about duty and time.In conclusion, I am thoroughly frustrated and deeply upset by the appalling treatment we received. It's disheartening to see a vital institution like USPS operate in such a callous and unprofessional manner. I strongly urge for a complete overhaul of the staff at this post office to ensure that other customers do not have to endure similar experiences in the future.

Disgusting, very poor, laziness and unprofessional and uncooperative customer service. Especially the lady at window to the left most setting on the drop off door.

Very long line day today. I waited almost 1/2 hour. First there were two windows open, then one and finally three. Some people cut the line and got waited on first. I asked at window 5 for the clerk to please scan a prepaid package I was sending and to give me a receipt. She said no. Now I don’t know for sure if my package is getting sent out.. In the past, there was never a problem getting a receipt. Our tax dollars at work!

Clerk #11 at the window was outrageously rude and screamed at me inexcusably, making my heart sink and wanting to cry yesterday. I had tapped my credit card at the big screen to pay and she screamed at me to follow the sign on the table, then she slammed her hands on the table loudly and screamed some more to tap there. This is unacceptable behavior to receive from a customer-facing USPS employee. I am afraid of this Clerk and I am afraid to mail out a letter at the window of this Station again.

The absolute RUDEST employees I have ever encountered literally anywhere. I asked a simple question and when I didn’t understand the lady’s instructions she LITERALLY screamed at me. Then continued screaming at me. It was absolutely insane.

The most incompetent postal service ever. Their delivery people frequently keep losing (or purposely stealing... yes, I said it!) my incoming delivery packages on weekly basis and causing me financial loss and stress. Each time when I open case with USPS, this local Midwood USPS does not offer any resolution at all and they don't take any accountability for lost mail or packages. I am not sure how this specific USPS location is allowed to operate with such incompetency. Worst, terrible, pathetic, disaster.... no word is ever enough to describe this postal service.

horrible place, nasty attitude, miserable, disrespectful and rude. I don't want to explain my experience in this place. I guess people already know how horrible this place is. Instead, I went to the other USPS in Newkirk nearby the subway station. The lady is very helpful and very nice. I'm not going to come back to this place no more. I'm a happy person and I don't want the negativity of other people ruin it for me.

Inefficiency to the max - usps should be left to go bankrupt and fail - get rid of this ridiculous monopoly and let private sectors take overPersonally, issue I had was that I needed to get fbi fingerprint scan service and 2 other locations machines were broken - I went from queens -> FiDi -> this Brooklyn location. They then charged me 50$ for doing 5 mins of work - dumbest system

very rude staff. On September 1, we went to make a passport for the child. there were a lot of queues, the workers stood talking. people began to tell them, maybe you will start working for which the workers closed the window and went somewhere. we all stood and waited. They didn't look at anything. It's like we came to their house. If they don't want to work let them stay at home. Before that, I went to ask how can I get a passport? They yelled at me because I don't speak English very well.
