“This trip was one of so very many across the tenure of this shop. We lived here when it opened and welcomed its plants and interesting items across the seasons. But yesterday’s visit nearly resulted in a one star review. I was greeted with “I don’t know” from one team member and a follow up “try the shed” which I did to be told “do you have a phone try Google” and then a young man advised he was quite new and didn’t know about the plant zones. Given the primary business is a nursery one would hope this is basic onboarding. Ready to leave empty handed and ready to warn other potential shoppers to stay away, Anthony - the new guy, returned and was not only well informed having called his boss to get the right answer but professional and helpful. Tracey and Lainie (not certain in spellings) were the final push to give this a five star review. Know your industry please. Don’t ruin the reputation of a long-standing business through attitude. Or at the very least re-think your choice of working with people.”

“I haven’t been to HomeGoods in years since they closed the location in Mahopac. I stopped in on a whim today and was thoroughly impressed with the size of the store, the general organization, and just the sheer amount of selection.HomeGoods is a wonderful store to add some personality to your home. They have items that are unique enough and represent various aesthetics, but won’t go out of style soon. And it’s also great to see some of your more “basic” items (kitchenware, towels, etc) at lower costs than your average retailer.If you’re in the area on a lazy Sunday, stop in and do some window (or real) shopping—you’ll kill time and have a blast!”
“Just received a beautiful sectional sofa and very pleased to support this Peekskill business. The chair and bed we purchased from them previously are very good quality too. You can see “ugly” to the left in photo, and in with the “beauty” that’s so firm and comfortable too. Very pleased and price is competitive with others too.”
“I don't think you could find a better place to deal with... I had heart surgery and going home found I couldn't get comfortable in a bed... So like in the hospital needed a recliner... Called Gallo and he sent a Recliner right to my house.... I just bought an Electric Bed and very happy, And I am now looking to buy the Dressers, From Gallo, Highly recommended”
