There is zero accountability when it comes to Avis customer service. Everyone tells you something different and it’s all conflicting. I had to exchange my vehicle 3 times and take the last car for an oil change myself . The first car kept getting a flat tire from a slow leak that shouldn’t have been sent out to begin with, this car also needed to be serviced when they sent it out. The second vehicle had terrible tires and the transmission was about to blow, was not safe at all. Went to exchange that and they accidentally closed my contract and charged me to have to reopen contract from beginning and put another hold on the card. After completing out my rental, they charged my card for the rental and put another authorization hold for over 400 dollars they they won’t release suddenly even tho I paid in full for my rental already and the contract is closed. You can’t get a manager on Th e phone and there was only one person that was able to help through this whole process. Don’t rent from Avis in Buffalo by, they don’t know what the hell they’re doing

Ask for a deposit. After paying in full the. Do a credit check and deny most in the urban community. Don’t waste your time Was renting not buying. Thanks enterprise save the day.

This location is an embarrassment to Budget. They get an F in Customer Service. The cars smell awful, I found marijuana in my car so the cleaning standards are pretty low. I can not express enough how rude the front counter employees are. Budget needs to monitor this franchise location as they have completely turned me off from ever using Budget car rental again. I tried to avoid giving any stars but had to pick 1

I rented and paid for a car two months prior to pick-up.I got there at the appointed time to "when did you rent this,was it today" .They eventually found my reservation then came the "we don't have anything in your requested size but all of our upgrades are reserved" When I suggested that I also had a reservation ,he found something on the side. After a week driving this car I discovered that the front tires were almost bald and making a racket and the key fob was warning that it's battery was about to die. There was also a $44 .00 charge on my credit card that they could not explain. I went in to the agency.Their response : "Take it up to the airport,maybe they can help you there".

Renting a car from here was literally the worst experience, both physically and financially, that I have ever made in my life. Unless you want a car that isn’t street legal, don’t come here.

They don't take cash. In America. In 2023. Our trip almost ended before it started because of this idiotic corporate policy. They also don't take prepaid credit cards either. They seem to hate money. They forced us to beg a relative to send us money because they require a $200 hold. Can't do the hold on a card and car in cash. Terrible company, would never rent from them again.

It was the most horrible experience dealing with avis in buffalo NY, the guy at the front desk, dominican short chunky guy ripped us off renting the most expensive vehicle, something we did not need, i explained several times that it was only me and my wife, we wanted the most economic vehicle, and he wanted to force me to get the most expensive vehicle, something we did not need, he gave the actitud like “TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT” i was super upset. DO NOT USE AVIS RENTAL CAR THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.Never again. This people are the worst. When i went down stairs to get the vehicle i saw hundred of economic cars. DO NOT USE AVIS SCAM SCAM SCAM

Recently rented a car from Buffalo NY airport where I fly frequently and always rented from Enterprise or Budget . I attempted Avis this time and it'll definitely be my last. The car was absolutely filthy and covered in dirty. I could understand the exterior not being spot less but there's no excuse for wrappers in the cup holders and French fries on the floor . Also the vehicle had many issue such as the apple car play not functioning correctly when I specifically asked if the vehicle has it not trying to be picky but at least tell me it doesn’t work so I at least I didn’t have to use my Navi on my cell phone for my long drive. I wanted to rent a spaceship however they only had a Ford focus and a Nissan sienna, I took the sienna it was a great drive updated Apple CarPlay maybe maybe android auto I'm not 100% sure but the car was smooth sailing second-best to a spaceship definitely nice staff got me in an out and I am pleased with my booking with Avis
