Best Western - On The Avenue offers a convenient and generally comfortable stay with a great location and free parking. Guests appreciate the spacious, clean rooms and the open elevator design. The hotel provides a good layout and has everything needed for a pleasant visit, including a friendly breakfast staff and a breakfast that offers a wide variety of options. Many guests found the breakfast to be plentiful, with fresh food regularly brought out by attentive staff, though some found the selection to be limited in certain areas like bread or pastries. The hotel is situated in a walkable area with nearby activities, though some guests noted concerns about safety and traffic in the surroundings. While the rooms are roomy and well-maintained, some guests experienced noise issues when staying on the first floor, especially near the fitness center and breakfast area, citing poor sound insulation. The bedding was also criticized for being smaller than the mattress and lacking a duvet, which was disappointing given the high room rates. Overall, the hotel provides a good value with comfortable, large rooms, but some aspects such as outdated decor, inconsistent service, and limited breakfast choices could be improved. Despite these issues, many guests enjoyed their stay and would consider returning.
Visiting on a business trip, during our visit there was no water due to an issue out of their control. Even without water, the manager was nice, made sure we had everything we needed during our stay.
