I came for the home show, I like immediately that the organizers had signs up that said "don't want to talk? scan the barcode for more info or to talk later". Every both had a barcode and I thought this was a great idea, unfortunately none of the vendors gave a care and all of them harass you at every booth to the point I just left I understand trying to sell your services but some people just want to LOOK and if we stop and inquire or look vaguely interested then approach us but having every single person at every booth "hi, how are you" fake conversation is exhausting. I had one company accost me for being not interested. Excuse me??I will not come back to this event. It was like the old days at fair when the carnies would yell at and accost you. The fair put a stop to it because it's off-putting and unpleasant. I wouldn't do business with anyone here. They seemed shady, not genuine, desperate, and annoying.Additionally, the event says there was food available, there is one giant bar when you come in, it has two built-in food areas upstairs. No other food vendors were onsite which was bizarre. There was one food truck but I believe it was desserts. Strange.

I have been working as a vendor during the Buffalo Homeshow for about 20 years. It varies from year to year with pedestrian turn-out. As a homeowner, this is where the best of the best WNY contractors come to market and give free consultation to anybody needing advice or wanting any kind of home improvement. These businesses spend a lot of money on these booths, marketing material, and paying staff to man the booths. I wish the organizers would advertise more or bring in bigger named celebrities to help attract more people. The amount of money spent by all these small businesses should warrant or afford better attractions to get more people to the event.

It was a pleasure to visit the Buffalo Home show at the Buffalo Convention center. The ease of navigating through the center was great. The Convention center exterior looks great as well.

Not having a designated ride share pickup is ridiculous. They close off the main entrance road for valet cars only at night and you’re forced outside in 10 degree weather then locked out of the convention center to get an Uber. It’s awesome, especially when your significant other is in a dress for a black tie event. When asking attendants what to do they just said too bad, figure it out this entrance is for our valet. Gross.

Awesome place to go for events. Parking was a concern, ended up parking on the street two blocks away. If you not able to download app for parking in the lots??

This review is for the 2024 auto show, there was a wide variety of new vehicles from brands like Lincoln, Lexus, Mazeratti , Jeep, Honda, Kia, Hyundai, Mercedes etc. There was good crowd control and light snacks.
