amazzzzzing bookstore. I felt so at home in this bookstore while also feeling challenged to grow and learn by the amazing books that surrounded me. There is such a great selection of posters, journals, flags, and cards as well.. and birding/nature books!

The location is perfect for the type of bookstore it is. It is a radical bookstore that focuses on radical thoughts and books. It feels as though it is leftover from the 60s and 70s. The neighborhood is a little rough, which means plenty of places to park. As there isn't a big walk in crowd. Places like this need to exist, but don't go there expecting to find a bestseller, but you can find books that can give you alternate ideas, which is great.

Highly recommend this bookstore! It’s a great atmosphere filled with books on important topics. The shelves are lined with material you wouldn’t normally stumble upon that make you want to read everything and get more informed rather than just new trending books you could find at any retail store. I look forward to many more trips here!

What a lovely bookstore; small, not overwhelming, but still has such diverse and extensive selections. Loved the little stickers, pins, zines etc. that they also sell. Definitely recommend stopping by!

Honestly? My kind of place. Social justice, small, the best of buffalo vibes. Thanks for being in the neighbourhood, Burning Books.

We've been a few times now (easy to do when you're waiting on your order at BreadHive) and we LOVE this bookstore. Great, radical selection - board books, YA, adult fiction and non-fiction. I could spend forever in here. The shop owner is very kind and helpful.

I am participating in the Independent Book Store Week challenge and I came into this store today. Out of the 6 different shops I visited today, Burning Books had to be my favorite! I'm sincerely looking forward to coming back to this place

A store unlike any other I’ve been to and the person working there was a great conversationalist!

My favorite bookstore in Buffalo! Absolutely unparalleled for political and social justice reads. Great kids section with lots of social justice-related topics made accessible for kids! Love the extras too: best selection of zines in the area, fun stickers and patches, notebooks, games and puzzles, etc. They also hold awesome events. Unfortunately not wheelchair accessible, hopefully that will change with the planned expansion!

If I could do 0 I would. Bookstores are meant to provide a safe space for all and it’s just pushing an agenda with overt hateful messages on display.

Good selection of socially conscious books, awesome staff. We got loads of help selecting books, from an employee who obviously knows the stock and possible choices, as well as options for purchasing materials.

A wonderful bookstore with a great selection to choose from on the topics you're looking for. And they're preparing to expand their space as well, allowing them to better showcase what they have available and be able to host even more interesting events! Will always recommend Burning Books!
