“We happened upon this fantastic little shop leaving the Italian club - This little diamond hidden in plain sight is great! We got some pork cutlets sliced with surgical precision and pounded out by hand - legit old school style and craftsmanship - my wife breaded these up and fried them golden brown - melt in your mouth, flawless! We also picked up some thick cut bacon, spicy sausage, red clam sauce, and some chocolate covered cashew toffee that is incredible! Call ahead for chicken cutlets. These guys are outstanding.”

“Johnnys is our local family run neighborhood butcher. Not only are their homemade sausage delicious but they have the most economical frozen meals and soups that are made right in their kitchen. I will only buy grated Parm or Romano from Johnny’s. Everyone there is beyond friendly and helpful, and the patrons are as well.”

“Staff informative and engaging with customers! Meat organized, fresh and appealing to view before purchasing. They have a small selection of fresh produce but I mostly go there for meat items and frozen side dishes. (I have 3 makes in my home so iykyk) Small area but it runs smoothly. My only complaint but I really believe it's a flook was no shopping carts! I brought my bags in but if I was a senior citizen or disabled it may have been struggle.”

“Every now and then one discovers a place that they wish they had known about years earlier. Camellia Meats is such a place. They not only have a very broad selection of meat and food products of every description, if they don't have exactly what you want, they will find it and order it and bring it in at a reasonable price. They make their own sausage, smoke their own meat, and significantly, they butcher every kind of steak to order. I personally asked for the impossible not too long ago and got veal steaks a full 3 inches thick for Bistecca a la Fiorentina. Although I didn't ask for it, they came individually wrapped and vacuum packed! Hard to get items such as turkey tails and exotic cuts of meat are no problem for this high volume fast paced market which has been around for the better part of a century. They have wholesale and retail, single items and bulk orders. If you are a professional or amateur chef, you need to know about this place. I no longer pay expensive shipping costs to boutique butchers in Italy and Europe; I go to Camellia meats. And I have never been disappointed.”

“My favorite local business in Buffalo. Put their steaks next to a Wegman’s Steak and you can visually see the difference in quality and ethical farming. With the unacceptable rising costs at grocery stores, it’s better to keep the money in the local community. Highly recommend you get your protein here.”
