Just don't! Pay the extra few dollars a day to rent a car from a reputable rental place at the airport instead of here. I booked through Expedia at a rate of $220 for my complete reservation. When I arrived the person helping me told me my bill was $550, and I had to provide my Expedia confirmation email to prove that was not the case. A slight inconvenience, as it did get resolved. BTW, what I got was a Hyundai Elantra for 3 days. Luckily, I noticed a large jar of wipes behind the counter, because when I went out to the car I saw several pink things all over the seat. I was able to get some wipes to clean them off so I didn't get them on my clothes. We head off on a half hour drive where I complained several times that the car stunk horribly. We got where we were going, and didn't return to the car until around 10pm, at which time the rental office was closed. This is when I realized the horrid smell was vomit and the pink chunks I cleaned up were likely vomit as well. The next day, I call ACE, only to get the run around. I wanted a new car. Best I got was someone's voicemail. No name. And as we sat in the car, I located more dried vomit, all over the drivers seat next to the center console. Needless to say, I didn't get a call back. Day 2 I call again, now even more pissed. Same nonsense, voicemail only after being given the run around, and no call back. Next day I turn the car in and advise the clerk, who apologizes. Tells me to call the manager on Monday, and there's nothing he can do for me. As we waited for him to complete a 2nd vehicle return for another customer before getting a shuttle to the airport, I heard him offer a discount to the customer, telling her he was going to apply the discount to her bill. WTF!!! It's now Tuesday, and being that I was at work all day yesterday, I was unable to call them. When I called today I am again given the runaround, and given several different phone numbers to call. I'd like to make a complaint to their corporate office or headquarters or whatever, but somehow I keep getting transferred back to the Buffalo office, and told to call tomorrow. I did not think this would be an issue, as I rented from Fox car rental before and had an excellent experience every time. This here killed the company for me. I think I'll be sticking to one of the big chains from here on out.
