DO NOT BUY FROM CALIFORNIA CLOSETs! You will get better selections, great planning ideas and more professional installers for LESS. I was a California Closets longtime customer. I had them do all the closets in my home when Lemoyne was the owner and did rental properties when her son, Rich was still involved. Both were great, but the business has sold and things are sub-par.
I went to California Closets to have bookcases installed on either side of my fireplace a few years ago and they hit me with a long install time, so I went to Creative Storage on the advice of a friend and worked with Matt McAuley, who was a pleasure. During installation I asked for a pipe to remain accessible with a simple cut out. Well he framed it in like a piece of furniture. Wow! Great Experience and it was 25 – 30% less.
So, like an idiot, I went back to California Closets recently when I was building an upscale new house with quite a bit of applicable spaces to be designed and fitted. I saw California Closets at the Buffalo Home Show where they gave me a 20% coupon and they told me it would apply to my project even though it wouldn’t be completed for several months later. I started the design process and never once asked the price. When I was ready to make the deposit, the coupon was denied and I have never received a bigger favor! I'd like to thank them here.
I went back to Creative Storage and they looked at my house plans and gave me better ideas that fit what I wanted. I worked with the other place a long time but Matt listened very carefully and came up with out of the box ideas that were just better! They also had many finishes that I had never seen and frankly I preferred. One cabinet surface was not just a front laminate wrap but ALL SIDES! Easy to clean and just beautiful.
I made sure to tip the installers because of their stellar efforts. They all said, “You don’t have to do that.” But I owned a sub-contracting company for many years and they really deserved so much more. They went above and beyond with scheduling and workmanship, even if it put them in a bad spot. I asked for a set of shelves to be moved to the garage and they did it after working all day in the heat elsewhere. Incredible. They picked up after themselves and always left the work area clean and tidy when most others did not.
I now have a beautiful house with tons of storage and I got it significantly less money and much better finishes from a great company to work with. EVERYONE from the people who answered the phone, admin, and schedulers were wonderful. Why would you ever choose anywhere else?

Absolutely love the wardrobe room they designed for me! It exceeded my expectations. The design process was so easy/fun and it was installed in just two days (and the installers were so professional). The designer is coming back for more projects. I was SO impressed. (Ignore the one door missing! It was damaged in production and this is before installation)

Beautiful building, store is full of accessories that you normally don't find in other stores. Outstanding detail on their custom made cabinetry. Had a great time at the wine ? and ? party last night.

We highly recommend Creative Storage! They are professional, timely and their products are reasonably priced all while providing a high quality product! Working with Theresa was easy as she answered all our questions and had good recommendations for all our spaces. We had our Master closet and pantry organized and both came out great and were awesome selling points when we sold our home last year. We also recently had our master bathroom closet and an extra bedroom closet organized by Theresa as well! We couldn’t be happier!

Creative Storage met the challenge of a small space, invading door swing and a patron with no ideas of their own….well regarding the closet that is. Design help was great, the store was terrific and the installation team was super nice and they did a terrific job. My house was built in 1906 so not many right angles remain but the closet is square and true. Thanks Diana and her amazing team!

Had an overall wonderful experience with Creative Storage. We utilized them for a walk-in closet remodel that had some funky angles we had to deal with.Both the owner and the design assistant I worked with were wonderful, very responsive and help come up with a design that was more functional than what I had come up with.The only real downside is the long lead time to get the finish product… but that is hardly their fault given all the post-COVID supply issues/ work backlogs.Would recommend to others and use again!

We have purchased a Murphy bed from Creative Storage and couldn't be happier. There were a few ups and downs, but every issue was taken care of. The workmen who installed the bed were pleasant and professional.They were very knowledgeable and efficient.The bed and hardware was one price. No extra cost for this and that. We dealt with Diana, who is the owner. She is hands on, honest and a delight to work with. I would highly recommend this company.

I can’t be more excited with the new display area that Diana at Creative Storage helped me create yesterday. I was amazed at how much I saved by shooing local with this amazing company!! Before you purchase anywhere do yourself a favor and stop in and see all the options and the great price point on all they have to offer!!

We cant thank you enough for completely revamping our master closet. Ever since we moved in we knew it was terribly organized but we didnt know how to make it better ourselves. We reached out to creative storage and everything was so smooth and great. Not to mention the prices are much more affordable than other company’s and its excellent product they custom make themselves! Theresa came for a free consult and drew up 2 design options for us. We booked it and a few weeks later it was all installed in under 2 hours! She truly listened to our concerns and what we needed and wanted instead and made it happen! We do not have a very large closet but she gave us 4 times the space still and we are blown away. Thank you so much, this is a game changer for our everyday lives. We will be recommending you to everyone!
