My family and I are having so much fun at Absolute Performance. The coaches are friendly, encouraging, and knowledgeable. I enrolled my kids in AP’s kids fitness program and they loved it! Highly recommend.

A couple of friends recommended this place, and after a short season of not working out I finally jumped in. My main reason was because I wanted something that would be a plan that I didn't have to think about or come up with on my own. So I scheduled a tour and then booked my membership. I can confidently say that the trainers here are some of the nicest and most knowledgeable people around. I was once over 400lbs and went through a weight loss journey with another great personal trainer who helped me establish a base. I was always afraid of group classes because I thought I might be embarrassed, even after losing the weight. But the culture that these trainers have set is one of fun, encouragement, and celebration. Even when there are others in the class, you still get personal attention to ensure that your movements are right and you are exercising without pain. And all the people in the class cheer one another on. I love the CrossFit approach too because it blends strength and conditioning with cardio for overall health and fitness WITHOUT PAIN. Now I look forward to each class and feel like I'm really missing out if I can't go. Walk if you have to, but eventually you'll want to run to this gym to not only get fit, but to make friends and have fun. Tom, Sheila, Frank, Logan, Josh and all the coaches are absolutely amazing and you owe it to yourself to let them coach you!

Best gym around.. great people, great workouts, great accountability.I have a very stubborn body, and AP has helped me get to a point where even I can obtain low bodyfat, visible abdominals, and the ability to compete in an Rx fashion. Highly recommend AP.

I've been coming here for nearly a month and am blown away. The staff is amazing and tailors all the workouts to your current skill level and makes adjustments for injuries, while still pushing you to do the most at your level.They're also focused on helping you to improve holistically, not just in the gym. When you first start you discuss goals - both inside and outside the gym - with your coach, and they check up and offer feedback to ensure you're making steps towards your goals.It's a very positive atmosphere, both from the coaches and from other gym members, everyone pushes you to go further and do the best you can regardless of your skill level.The best part is you no longer have to worry about doing your own programming, the workouts are already set each day so you just show up and go. They start with stretching and rolling out muscles, then move into a series of warm-ups, and skills related directly to the workout, then you move into the workout. If you're unable to do the workout as it's listed due to injuries or your current level, a coach will talk with you and determine the best alternative that allows you to still work the appropriate muscle groups. There is absolutely no shame in this, everyone is working at their own pace together. The comradery I've experienced so far is like nothing else I've seen since leaving high school sports. Truly anyone can do this, and it's an amazing group of people.There are also loads of opportunities to progress your skill level and to train specific things so you can get into more complicated movements as you go.There are also tons of internal and external resources for nutrition, chiropractics, and physical therapy.

Absolute Performance is phenomenal! After having my second baby I found myself in a fitness funk. I wasn't looking forward to workouts like I once used to. That's when I found AP which helped me find that motivation again.The coaches and entire community are incredibly supportive and they will cater to all levels of fitness. They were also fantastic postpartum. Tom literally carried my baby around just so I could get a workout in and Sheila was a wealth of knowledge on properly easing my body back into working out again. I could not speak more highly of this gym!

My son recently turned 13, is in 8th grade, and had never worked out before. He played modified football this year and started, but he isn't ready to play JV. After just one month with Tom and his team, we have seen significant improvement in his athletic performance. He nearly doubled his vertical jump, increased his broad jump, and decreased his times on the 10/20 yard dashes and 15 yard agility drill. The program is age-appropriate and challenging to get results, but also fun and keeps him engaged. It has only been one month, but I highly recommend AP to anyone looking to help their high school athlete.

I highly recommend Absolute Performance! The community is super friendly and welcoming, and the trainers have been amazing in helping me start smoothly. The staff is not only knowledgeable, but they also ensure you understand every aspect of your training. I can genuinely say that it's the highlight of my day, and despite being group classes, they follow up on everyone's progress individually. With my history of injuries, they make sure to adjust the workouts, allowing me to get the most out of each session. Overall, this place is great for ALL ages!

I’m 57 years old and not a gym person typically. I usually dread going & will more often than not talk myself out of going. I am not very confident in myself but this has become my favorite time of day. I absolutely love it. They are so encouraging, accepting and supportive with no judgment. They make you feel like you can do anything and modify the workouts to your abilities. They are like a second family. So glad my son took me to their friends & family week. I wish I knew about this great place years ago !

When I moved back to NY from SC 6 years ago, I left my cross family behind. After years of spending time with a community that was my second home, I felt a little lost and honestly didn’t think I’d be able to find a place like that. I finally took the step 2 weeks ago and trusted my gut , took a chance, and set up an initial meeting with Tom and Frank. That day forward, I knew this is where I wanted to be. The coaching staff has made me feel comfortable, capable and powerful. The positivity illuminates in the gym. The sense of community is all inclusive and a reminder that there still are amazing people in this world in a time we need it most.

I wanted to get moving again after a two-year hiatus from working out. I just completed my first week of CrossFit and I have to say the coaches at Absolute Performance are amazing! The classes are the perfect size, and there are multiple classes to accommodate almost any schedule. Shout out to Coach Frank, Coach Tom, Coach Mitch, and Coach Alec!

If you’re considering trying Crossfit and feel like you’re not fit enough please schedule a tour at AP. That was me and I now wish I would’ve joined years ago. This is an amazing group of people who personalize every workout and make working out fun!!

Absolute Performance is the Absolute Best??I originally was looking for 1-on-1 training, of the usual set lifting schedule (three days a week, main lifts like bench, squat, deadlifting, etc) as that was I had been used to throughout my collegiate career. After talking with the staff here and attending an introduction class to see how it was structured, I immediately knew this was the place to be.No matter your fitness background, no matter your age, they keep you involved in your journey in a way that allows you to feel in control of how you are progressing as they challenge you. They are well versed with working around injuries(whether they are old ones flaring up or new ones sprouting), and the other members of the class are always supportive and helpful as well.I can easily say working out is not something I find myself dreading anymore in my day. It's packed full of great music, great people, and a shared experience of getting better together, no matter each members starting level. All can participate and all can be great together!

I have been blessed to work with Tom and the entire AP staff for several years now. Tom has helped me transform both physically and mentally. From high school to college and post college career. The culture this place provides cannot be beat. It is something special you won’t find at any other gym. Truly a team atmosphere where everyone is there to help and push each other to new heights. No matter what skill level or background. Accountability is huge both inside and outside the gym. The coaches have a sincere passion to see all of their athletes succeed and achieve their goals.Its a privilege to train with coaches who have an immense amount of knowledge and experience. They are the best in Western New York. However I’m forever grateful for all the memories and good times here.

Excellent CrossFit community - when you walk in here people will know your name and look forward to seeing you in the gym. Coaching is top notch and programming is approachable for all age ranges and abilities.Not only will you feel better and move better, but you will also learn about how to take care of your body outside of the gym.

Great gym that is very accomdating for age, abilities and goals! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. We are all athletes at AP. Tom, Sheila and Frank are the best! I work mostly with Sam and Cayleigh for Personal Training--they are knowledgeable and so encouraging! I am older and trust me--you don't need to be scared. It is for everyone!
