Extremely disappointed that my first review was deleted. When we went, the stay was ok but not great. The spa was fully booked, the room wasn’t properly cleaned, as we found a used band for money on the floor, the med was made with my leggings in the bed (they were on the bed and then underneath the comforter when the bed was made). When we requested the shuttle, we were informed they didn’t have one—even though all of the paperwork said the opposite. The charcuterie board we ordered with room service was missing some of the things that were meant to be included. The springs floor was dirty when we went and almost all of the towels were used. On the day of checkout, we were awoken by the fire alarm going off at 7am because someone burnt their toast. In all, I expect more out of a 5-star hotel. I will say, though the stay was “ok,” The Chophouse was a 5/5. They were amazing.

Weird little hotel. Interior decorating reminded us of The Great Gatsby (2013) in that it was glamorous but kinda instantly dated and strange out of context. It seems due for an update or at least a very thorough cleaning in some areas. The room itself was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the sheets felt fresh and clean - and the shower was super luxurious. The staff was very welcoming and helpful - even staff we would just bump into in the elevator were quick to offer help. The hot springs were funny - just a big hot tub - but of course it’s lovely to get to sit in a hot tub on a cool day. The area around the tub in particular felt like it could use a thorough cleaning. We would probably just go for the Hilton if we come back to Buffalo but it was a fun experience to come here once, especially at a decent discount through Priceline.

Enjoyed the high tech items in the room. Easy to control all lights from the bed as well as the curtains.Rooms: Very clean, great accommodations. Only down side was the TV noise all night long from the room next door.Food & drinks: Good Breakfast, both complimentary as well as options to buy. The bar has a nice relaxing atmosphere to wind down at the end of a long work day.

My favorite hotel. The hot spring pool is really something, you won't find something else like it in buffalo. Go to it early or late so you don't get surrounded by kids. When I soak in a hot tub I just want to relax so just go when any kids are probably sleeping. I've stayed here two different times and each time my room has also had a deep jacuzzi type bathtub (in addition to a really cool shower) so I'm thinking that hot tubs in the room are standard too

Everyone was extremely courteous and helpful. The room they gave me was not perfect, something you'd expect from an upscale hotel. Although the shower was FANTASTIC!!! I have not seen one like this anywhere. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel could use some new carpeting. The restaurant was very good. I enjoyed lunch there and the service was top notch.I would most definitely stay at the Curtiss Hotel when my travels take me to Buffalo.

Stayed 2 nights in January for our anniversary. Started out as a very nice time. Beautiful ,clean rooms. Beds were very comfortable along w linens. Trouble began at 3 am being woken by screaming and yelling one floor below us. I contacted the front desk, upon being informed by them that the noise was not coming from the hotel but neighboring establishments. It was so loud it went on for about 35 min. Quieted down until 535 am then started all over. Again I called the front desk to alert them. I spoke to the manager the next day to check out only to find out they overcharged us from what we were quoted upon reserving the room. The breakfast was even more disappointing for the prices they charge to stay. No hot food which was listed as free breakfast. This was ridiculous. I had to speak with the Mgr to have our money refunded to our account a week later. We were so disappointed and will not be returning. It's a shame because the rooms beautiful. Most of the staff was very approachable but some of the front desk people were very rude. So much for a 5star hotel on our anniversary. Very upsetting.Nearby activities: Went to Resurgence downtown. Was also disappointed with their menu items. Very expensive.

I booked this hotel via Choice on 1/22/24 and got a confirmation. Today, 10 days later, the "director of operations" writes to me that the confirmation was in error and cancelled my booking without any recourse. They did not even refund me and want me to contact Choice to get refunded. What a cluster****. Avoid at all cost.

My husband and I went to the revolving bar last night at the Curtiss Hotel, Josh was our bartender and he was amazing. He made the best espresso martini I’ve ever had and he was extremely friendly and took great care of the other patrons as well. We were super impressed with everything. I highly recommend checking out this bar and ask for Josh!

Everything was lovely. The room was great, hotel was beautiful. Service at breakfast was wonderful. After check out, we realized we had left several pieces of jewelry in the bathroom, including a sapphire necklace and several rings that were sentimental and irreplaceable. We called and asked for the general manager, and described all five of the pieces that were left in detail. The general manager claimed that they were not found, and acted flippant. There is no doubt that we left the jewelry there, and it was never turned in. Sad.

Such a fantastic hotel in every way. Every valet, front office, f&b, housekeeper, absolutely amazing! I took my 11 year old son on a boys trip and it was such a fun experience for him to stay at a hotel like this and be treated to this kind of hospitality.Chloe at the front desk who checked us in was super funny and helpful. Gave us some great recommendations when the weather didn't cooperate and give us the snow us Florida boys were on the hunt for. Gavin is eternally grateful as her recommendation led him to one heck of an afternoon that would have been otherwise, kinda dull. Thanks again!Rooms: Absolutely beautiful rooms. While this was a father son trip, I'd absolutely bring my wife here for a nice stay. The bathroom was amazing, decor was very nice, and the tech in the room was shockingly modern and easy to use. I've stayed/ worked in a lot of hotels from Las Vegas to NYC and this one was top 5 for tech and bathroom.Walkability: Easy, right in the heart of downtown
