This place is nicer than the Canadian ones! May 7/15- skipping school to come here for the day is always worth it! Grade 6 best memory was definitely coming across the border and living! My family with my uncle came and I got chocolate!

I approached to the store today and an employee was outside changing the trash. I threw one bag into the trash and she immediately looked at me and said really! I proceeded to walk into the store and ask for the manager. I didn't bother anymore communication with her is this is the second time she has been rude. When I was explaining to the manager what had happened the employee came into the store and started screaming at me. In front of her two managers she told me she did not care what I thought that they had people defecating in the aisles so she didn't care what I had to say. The two managers apologize profusely and said that they would speak to her. I really hope I do because the way she spoke to me in front of two of her managers was completely unacceptable.

I drive right on by 2 dollar trees just to get to this one. The Elmwood store is so dirty I feel like I need to wash my hands as soon as I leave there. Last Friday I was helped by a worker Alex at the Sheridan store. She was very friendly found exactly what I was looking for. The store was so clean and organized. Kristen (hope that’s right spelling) helped me as well. She’s helped me before and she’s one of the main reasons I drive that distance. Thanks ladies.

Clean well stocked store BUT TERRIBLE EVENING SERVICE....wish the two older associates would shut their mouths and focus on their customers, didn't need to hear all your conversation of your opinion of "Delilah" from the radio and what tunes she's selecting. If you focused on your customer I might have been able to cash out quicker since you neglected to see that you as the cashier needed to hit your tender button so my chosen card would process. You talked about young employees also during your conversation( which again I didn't need to listen to) and how they don't pay attention yet you did the same thing, totally disgusted WILL NOT shop here again

These locations should really consider changing the name from Dollar Store to Discount Store because nothing in these stores no longer cost a dollar!!!

I use to go to this place before taking the bus to school, but I might not go. I go in and pay for some snacks. I walk out to wait for my bus and an employee accused me of stealing. Now, the whole thing was a misunderstanding, she was rude af about it, and barely apologized afterwards. L custOmer service + 99 cent store better

Have always shopped at the Sheridan/Colvin store for all my craft and holiday needs. The staff has always been very friendly. Today, however, I witnessed a cashier dress another cashier down, at the register, in front of customers. That should never happen. Poor girl was visibly embarrassed. Then the other cashier and another employee made remarks about her attention span, loud enough that I heard it. Extremely unprofessional.

Clean and organized. Most of the employees I've encountered have been friendly and helpful.. However, I was told that I shouldn't change my mind about purchasing items at check out because then they have to waste their time putting them back.
