The Buffalo & Erie County Public Library's Central Library is a big place with several floors and lots of different sections. It is the best stocked library for the entire county, featuring not only books but also DVDs, music CDs, computers, scanners, printers, and historical exhibits. Notable spaces include a children’s room, a teen space, a makerspace with 3D printers, a recording area, and special rooms for collections and rare books. There are always displays on different topics and ethnicities. The library is clean, with computers always available. Employees and security are nice, helpful, very polite, professional, and competent. They work to minimize disruptions from some homeless people and unsupervised teenagers. While there are some issues with disruptive behavior outside the building, the library remains a place offering many resources, free programming, and delightful exhibits, making it a valuable community space.
Best library in the system- mini museums here and there. I get most of my orders from here, but there are a lot of books from really popular series that got lost that haven't been replaced. It's funny that I can't find any of the books here because they're lost when I go. 😐 I'm damn unlucky.

I love the library! There’s so much available here. It’s a great resource to have downtown.
