I’m honestly heartbroken writing this, but I hope it helps someone avoid the same mistake. I brought in a designer belt and a handbag—both in perfect condition—to have the belt shortened and to add a small leather wrap to the purse handles. The lady was super sweet and seemed very knowledgeable, so I felt confident leaving my items with her (I even paid in advance).
I came back the same day to confirm the cut on the belt and everything seemed fine. But when I returned the next day to pick them up… I was devastated. The belt was completely ruined. Not only was it unevenly cut, but it was drenched in glue and covered in a thick layer of mismatched paint that she applied in front of me when I pointed out the mess. The burgundy leather now has ugly yellow patches and peeling edges. It looks nothing like it used to.
And the purse? I don’t even know where to start. The wrap job is messy, crooked, and slathered in glue. The glue even got on parts of the handle that didn’t need any repair at all—now they’re sticky, stained, and stiff. It was a total disaster.
Please don’t bring your expensive or sentimental pieces here. I truly wish I had read something like this before trusting her with mine. Learn from my mistake—this was a costly and heartbreaking experience.

I had 4 pairs of nice boots with paint on them. After I got them back I had 4 pairs of boots that looked better than they did when brand new. Thank you so much!

Linda is amazing! I brought in an old Schott flight jacket and she gave it another life. I'm thoroughly impressed by the quality of work that could only be perfected generation after generation.

Bought some leather belts when I was in Italy and they did not fit the people I was gifting it to. Linda was super help and fix them up. Would go back in the future

Truly an Angel!! Wish I could give her 100 stars! Brought my husband’s defiled leather jacket in and Linda was able to not just save it, but completely restore it!! We honestly didn’t think there was any hope. The jacket was a hand me down with much sentimental value. Thank you Linda for giving my husband back all those memories and a gorgeous jacket that someday he can hand down to the next generation! Your Amazing!

Accidentally spilled hand sanitizer in my leather backpack. Wanted to find a place walking distance to work. Was so pleased to stumble into this piece of Buffalo history. Linda the owner was wonderful and fixed my backpack for me. Excellent pricing and very quickly done. Highly recommend!!
