NEVER get the MACY’S CARD! We’ve bought clothes, jewelry, furniture, etc, from Macy’s over the years, so I thought they were reputable enough to open a charge card. I was lured by a discount on a diamond necklace. Big mistake!
I paid the full amount owed on that card two months ago. Because the payment wasn’t processed until a few days after their billing cycle closed, they’ve now charged me another whopping $79 in fees. $79?! Remember, I paid the full amount on the card months ago. I closed the charge account today after paying their ridiculous fees.
I told the customer service rep that we would never again shop at Macy’s. He replied, “Perfect!” He could have easily reduced the fees, or at least shown regret at losing a family of long-term customers. “Perfect?!” The only thing a legacy store like Macy’s has going for it is its reputation for customer service. Too bad Macy’s no longer cares.

1-9-25 still the same! Typical department store nothing special 4-16-22 it got worse help finding merchandise is virtually non-existant.

Macy's in Buffalo made a huge pricing mistake that cost me extra. I found a dress on the 50% off rack, but they tried to charge me with 40% off price. They finally gave me a discount, but I still ended up paying more in taxes. Don't shop here unless you want a frustrating experience.

Terrible customer service in the womens clothing department, no help what so ever. Went to White House Black Market and found what I needed, Sales associates were fantastic.

Located inside the Galleria Mall. This department store is well known and carries lots of brand name clothing mostly at retail price. They do decorate the store very nice for Christmas.

I love Macy’s and they deserve 5 stars from a frequent shopper here, but let me tell you the experience I had today was unpleasant. Unprofessional and rude. I drove to the mall on limited time with my busy schedule to get my mom her favorite Lancôme perfume for her birthday. Every perfume station had employees except for Lancôme which I waited for 20 mins while the woman working at another perfume station directly behind me saw I was standing here waiting. After she shoved food in her mouth, I interrupted her to ask if anyone is working here today and if she can get me any help to make my purchase. Instead she was cold, rude saying “I can’t help you, I don’t work for Macy’s.” “Go ask in cosmetics department in front for help”. I went to cosmetics, no employees either. I wasted my time and now without the gift my mom wanted. I had to leave as I couldn’t wait another 30 mins to an hour looking like an idiot standing there alone. I’m very disappointed as I’ve never had a poor experience here until today.

My wife went to Galleria location (shoes department) to purchase shoes, customer service is horrible, the young lady helped my wife and left her in middle of conversation then went to help others people, don't mention to my wife if she needed to wait for some reasons. they need more training and learn how to take care of customers.
