Parking can get tight, but worth looking for a spot. Bread is amazing. Sandwiches are delicious! We had the chickpea salad, then bought the Deerhurst and a make your own. No complaints. Pastries, cakes, and scones are irresistable. Bought their rustic loaf, OMG!!! Also hoping to buy flour here as they mill it locally. Also sell bakers gifts like bread lame, bread bins, dish towels, and kitchen gadgets. Love this place, and the staff is super helpful.Vegetarian options: Chickpea options and make your own sandwich provides lots of options.Parking: Mid morning you should find parking, but lunchtime is busy both for tables and parking. But there are spots on the parkway, and side streets for free.

always closed and one time that we’re able to go they refuse to toast and butter a bagel for me… they said they’re out of eggs but I don’t know why that means they couldn’t toast my bagel ?♀️ a great excuse tho

We typically visit Millers Thumb on a Saturday or Sunday morning, it’s become our go to place for coffee, pastries, bread and occasionally breakfast sandwiches. It’s a welcome add to the local scene, the service and ambiance is top shelf. Jill is a wonderful host.Vegetarian options: Half of the breakfast sandwiches, they typically have 6-8 to chose from, are vegetarian. I have two vegetarian sons and they love the place.

My daughter and I go here whenever she is home from out of state. I enjoy the chai latte and try different pastries each time, while she has a favorite chickpea sandwich. The workers are consistently friendly and the place is always busy, with a homey atmosphere of what appears to be to be regulars -- from grandparents with their grandkids, to friends meeting to chat or individuals enjoying their solitary coffee and treat.

Delicious! Everything I've gotten: sandwich, bread, pastry. Yummy; highly recommend. Speedy service. Cozy spot with a few tables. I've always just taken items to go.

What an adorable little spot in Tonawanda!! I didn't realize they also served food and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. I had the chick pea salad sandwich which was very flavorful and the bread was divine! The service was great-everyone was very helpful and everything came out in a reasonable amount of time. The frosting on the cinnamon bum was out of this world-definitely ask them to warm It! Can't wait to come back and try more!

This is my favorite place for bread and breakfast sandwiches in the Buffalo area. We try and go every Saturday morning and always get a rustic loaf for the week. They always have samples if you want to try something different. There are grab and go cookies, sweet breads and biscotti and always a stocked pastry case.My go-to sandwich is the commuter, I get it with ham (thinly sliced prosciutto style) on sourdough, my husband gets the same on an everything bagel with bacon. The bagels are great to stock up on if you have family or friends staying with you for the weekend.I can’t leave without a scone either, flavors rotate week to week and every one of them is amazing. They serve Tipico coffee and always have a really good seasonal latte. There are great baking products too, perfect for gifting if you know someone into baking.Staff is always kind and professional. We just love this place and tell everyone we know about it. All my friends in the area feel the same!Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs available and there’s always at least one family with kids enjoying a meal together, it’s a lovely spot for family breakfast or lunch.
