Mobility works used to be very good. Now, under new management it is atrocious. I brought my wheelchair van in to have a leaner switch replaced. Instead of using a new part which I was going to pay for a switch from an old chrysler was put in. Clearly it did not fit, and when they forced it in. They broke my whole council. Failed to tell me they broke it, when I called, he said he would replace the part. Sadly, they are no longer making that part. So I am left with a broken switch. And a broken council. I had to take my Van to Rochester to Tim's trim. And pay again to have the leaner switch repaired. If you value your vehicle, do not take it here. It is the shadiest place in town. When I take my $80000 fan to be fixed. I expected to be fixed properly and with new parts, not shady dealings.

They work together as a team to get people in and out as quickly as possible. Very friendly and understanding. They were done a bit earlier than expected and the job was installed correctly. We brought our own food for lunch and they let us use their table, chairs and coffee and water machines. We highly recommend Mobility Works Company for anyone who needs that kind of work done and done correctly! Thank You!

We bought our wheelchair van here almost two years ago. Booked an appointment to get the modifications checked and lubricated and what not. They got me in quickly and their staff are all very friendly and professional. Very clean and comfortable waiting area. Keep in mind this is a specialty shop so fees are higher then most, $155 an hour for labor.

Dan the service manager went above and beyond to help me with a few issues on a van that I had purchased elsewhere. Also spent a fair amount of time on the phone walking me through some repair steps!… Most service managers would tell you “bring it in “ I will definitely do business with that facility in the future!!

Dan the Service Manager is amazing. I called as I am visiting in Buffalo from Mississippi. I called the dealership where I bought my Harmon lift for my mobility. Scooter. They were unable to get me in before I had to leave. It had been periodically “jumping” when going up with the scooter on the lift. On the way to Buffalo it was doing it everytime. Now I’m a panicked handicapped person. I called them on a Monday Dan said come by around 4:00 tomorrow. Of course I was late. He came out raised and lowered the lift a couple of times and he agreed it was really jumping. Said wait a minute came back out with a spray can. Fixed it 5 minutes with some grease. He could have told me anything as I drive a very nice vehicle. He told me the truth all it needed was a little grease. What a honest man. I can’t recommend them enough.

The people that work here are great. The sales guy, Bob, went above and beyond to help my mom find a wheelchair accessible van. Shortly after she got one, she had an issue with the ramp. She called, and they walked us through some trouble shooting to get it to work again. We are both completely satisfied with this company and would recommend anyone looking for an accessible van to them.

Mobility Works in Amherst NY is an amazing group of people. The sales, office and service staff are all dedicated professionals who go above and beyond. They understand how vitally important our van is to us. When we had an unexpected issue with our van late in the day, they went above and beyond to keep us mobile and safe. Great customer service! I needed a wheelchair van to transport my dad to a medical procedure and I found Mobility Works after searching online. After the pandemic the local companies were not dependable to get clients to and from appointments on time. Luckily, I found Mobility Works and for the cost of what I would pay a service I could do it myself. Mary at the local Amherst office was so great!! She was able to accommodate my request on multiple occasions even in a last minute bind when I needed a vehicle she made it happen for me. I truly appreciated what her and her team did to help me take care of my father in his final months. If you need help with transporting a family member and local services are not doing it for you reach out to Mobility works and ask for Mary locally. The vehicle are in great condition they looked brand new, the staff is friendly and helpful. She is amazing and helped me more than she will ever know.

A couple just got a set of scooters which they have no medical issues with walking their just real lazy they should give the scooters back
