Worst experience ever - reserved and prepaid a compact SUV well in advance, SUV was preferred for an injury that cause discomfort with driving sedan. At pickup time which is late at night, was only provided a mid-size sedan, which we consider it as downgrade. They refused to partial refund stating it is the same category, well, to you orange and apple at same price means the same grade, it does not mean they at the same price all the time, that’s what in your system. Also, to people prefer apple, the orange is an unquestionable downgrade.

I have never been treated so rudely and wrong! My husband is a top member which they wouldn’t treat me the same. My brand new keep broke down they dispatched a rent a car and literally took alllll day and wouldn’t bring me nothing else and still didn’t get nothing and no money nothing back I get someone rude every time I call!

Quite possibly the best car rental experience I’ve ever had, from start to finish. Virtually no wait at pickup or return. Totally seamless process with no pressure to add extra insurance, etc.Everyone we encountered was polite, laid-back, friendly, and competent. They seemed like they genuinely wanted us to have a good experience. And we did!Special shout-out to Eli, who helped us with our return. He went above and beyond to take care of us.Because of this first experience with National, I plan to use them for all future car rentals—even though I have Presidents Circle Status with Hertz.

We had an excellent experience from the website to checking in and out. The price was the same as initially quoted and that of check out. Also, I appreciated that they didn't push to upsell. Also, include additional drivers for free. The car was clean, and when dropping off, we had no issues. We did have to wait a bit for a clean baby car seat. I would use National Car Rental Again.

It was my first time renting from National and it was a great experience from start to finish. I had rented a full size SUV and was pleasantly surprised when I was given a Jeep Wagoneer L. Picking up the SUV was easy as I was in and out quickly. Great vehicle, great mileage and super comfortable for a 7+ hour drive each way on my trip.The only minor hiccup I had with the rental was that the SUV was not completely cleaned when I picked it up. The 3rd row was missed (first 2 rows were excellent). However, Kris from Customer Service noted it and was super nice to talk to. Also, Nick (lot attendant) upon my return also was great, apologized for the cleaning staff missing the 3rd row and gave a discount off my final total to make up for it. He took ownership and wanted to make sure I was satisfied, which I am.I absolutely would rent from National again. Great vehicles, rates are competitive, easy check in/check out process, and more importantly the customer service is excellent. You will not go wrong renting with National.

Awesome experience from beginning to end. National rep worked patiently with me to find the perfect upgrade. Ended up having one small hiccup however when I dropped the car off National Rep named Jack more than generously took care of everything. National always has unbeatable, seamless service. I highly recommend.

Joe is AWESOME went to the above and beyond running up and down the stairs not just once but twice for a newly mother to make sure I got the car of my deepest desire that all the reservation numbers in the world that I called all day today every single one could not accomplish butts thanks to in person customer appreciation this guy made it happen#promotion #raise #ManagerMaterial ok duly know that he totally did not have to do that he could have just said no I can't instead he totally willingly made the choice to walk out of the booth all the way upstairs not once but twice to make me happy

Emerald club: It is very disingenuous from a company to give 0 free miles on a 4-day rental and show a highly low-ball estimate to the customer to secure their reservation, and the final charge to be put more than double that initial estimate cost (apparently it costs 0.40 a mile). If I knew it would cost me 770 dollars instead of 370 dollars I would never have gotten that kind of itinerary for myself. No warnings, no disclaimer, no sincerity from this company.This is what the reservation said:"Estimated Total(includes taxes and fees) $370.29Total may vary slightly at time of rental based on the election of prepaid gas, optional coverage items or changes in taxes, surcharges and fees. "Pay attention to "total may vary SLIGHTLY at time of rental....". Marking it down low and charging more than twice of it is not a SLIGHT variation. Lost a customer today. Surely, it's legal what the company did, but it's not forthcoming and sincere.

Very friendly staff, Dakota was very helpful, she made our checkin very easy. Just came to know that this particular location doesn't have any barricade or closed gate that's the reason they dont have emerald isle or executive section. But if you are any previlaged member you can always check in directly in the garage. The location is right opposite to arrivals.

Staff at this location was incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall great experience. They really did a great job, especially after I had to hit the eject button for my hertz rental and make a last minute rental with national. I appreciate the great work!!!

Had to rent a car to drive to Erie. The intermediate car was excellent. Very new and clean. Android Auto was a huge plus. Staff upon welcome and drop-off were excellent!!!!

I am an executive elite member of National car rental. I am currently stranded in a blizzard in Buffalo, NY snowed into a hotel across the street from the closed airport. I called today to try and change my return date (overdue because of the blizzard and the airport being closed) I have been across the street for 4 days. I can get a flight out of Harrisburg PA on Wed no flights closer until 6 days from now. I called National today. They are going to charge me $800 in rental extensions and an airport 200 miles away. 4 days stuck across the street from the closed rental car return. Completely disgusted. Absolutely the WORST customer service ever!!! I belong to a corporate account. I will definitely let them know. Completely disgusting to take advantage of stranded travelers like this!!!
