I agree with some other reviewers that the store is tight. However it's because they are squeezing in as many wines as possible, and compared to other local wine stores, you will find wines here that you cannot find anywhere else locally. We came for a specific wine that we were not able to find anywhere else locally, and during our visit (on a Friday), we got to sample a few wines and were treated with personalized service that I've never experienced at any other wine store. Paradise wines specializes in sustainable, biodynamic, and small batch wines however their prices are still very affordable. I'm very happy with the wines and service we got, and will definitely make the trip to come back soon.

Not only does Paradise Wine have delicious wines, they also have an excellent selection of spirits. Shopping there has seriously upped my cocktail game! Staff suggestions never disappoint. Everyone is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.I’ve had them deliver to me at work several times and love browsing in the store.

Came in for a little known craft cocktail recommended by a friend at work. Staff knew exactly what I was looking for and knew the actual creator of it. Great experience. Will visit again if I am anywhere close. Thanks

Very knowledgeable wine shop in the five points neighborhood. Q Good selection, and they offer a wine club. They also offer spirits and mixed drinks in cans.

I've heard many good things about this place so, finally, I decided to stop in. What i found was actually a rather cold welcoming although the other staff person was having a great conversation with another customer. I wandered around a little bit and was a little confused by the order and signage. I must admit, I don't know much about wine, so that could be part of it. When I went to the cash register, the person didn't acknowledge me for a bit. And then, after checking out, the person just sat down as opposed to offering or even talking about a receipt. There wasn't even a 'you can take your card out' or 'thank you' or 'have a good day.' I found that weird. The last thing that makes this 4 stars is that this is not a place for a person of size. I felt very uncomfortable browsing the store. The aisles are narrow - much narrower than other places. And if you had any sort of device for mobility, you wouldn't be able to browse anything. I know it's to try to get the most in the space, but this is just a yelp warning that it's not comfortable if you need/want space. I appreciate the sustainability and organic nature of things. It's what keeps this at a 4 instead of a 3.

Great spot! But their name says what they carry. This is very much a wine-focused store. I can here looking for liquor and it wasn't great for that, but it was ab awesome spot for wine. The staff was incredibly friendly.

1st thought before entering for 1st time: too small to compete. After entering... immediate WOW! Great international selection, and helpful staff who know the product. Every wine has their individual tasting notes. Best wine store in Buffalo? Best one I've been to and best wine shopping experience since Rue Mouffetard in Paris.

Absolutely fantastic shop with wonderful owners. Amazingly curated wine selection with a clear and descriptive layout. Offered suggestions but let us have fun looking around. Unbelievable amount of reasonably priced options. Will be back regularly.

Paradise has what you're looking for and what you weren't looking for! You need an orange wine with zero sulfites from a country you didn't know made wine? All set. You need a California Cab under $20? All set. They also have a great, albeit small (curated if you prefer) spirit collection as well.

I love this place. Paula and her staff are always super helpful and kind. I've tried some great wines from shopping here, and I love knowing that they are organic and/or sustainably grown/produced. The shop itself appears small from the outside, but you'd be surprised by how many aisles and shelves of wine are inside! It's a real nice vibe when you walk in. There is a little lot on the left of the entrance but it can be tough to get out of. It's not usually hard to get a spot in the street, especially after Remedy House has closed for the day. I also like this place because I know they support local nonprofits with in-kind donations as well. I love being able to support a business that supports the community!

This is now my go to place for wine. They have lots of choices by whatever region you prefer your wine? from. Peter is amazing and knows where to direct you according to your desires. He explains your choices very well depending on the taste and flavor you are after plus what pairs best with what kind of meal you are planning to have with your wine. He is the main reason why I returned here after trying out this place earlier this spring. Definitely highly recommend.

Sunday afternoon wine needs. No idea what I wanted. The staff Paula has in there made the trip perfect. Knowledgeable, not pushy, price point conscious and value oriented.Even if you have a broad knowledge of wine ask for help. There are hidden gems at every turn. ??????
