Parkside Candy is a beautiful store with original decor that provides a step into ice cream parlors of the past, offering an architectural joy. It features an excellent soda fountain and a great selection of chocolates and nostalgic favorites, including renowned sponge candy. The ice cream, like the sea salt caramel with toffee, is exceptionally good. While one staff member was noted as very rude, other staff are described as excellent, very friendly, lovely, and polite, going out of their way to please with great table service and attention to detail. Prices are very good. It is a delightful and fun place to visit, with many customers returning for decades and recommending it to friends, though one negative interaction gave some hesitation.
