Worst customer experience I've ever had at a Quest. Only one kiosk to sign it at and a woman refused to let anyone use it to log in as whatever she was doing was more important. Eventually logged in and was called only to have the same woman cut me off and start to ask the employee questions. Same staff member and another one she called in refused to allow me to be with my son (10 y/o) because we were scheduled at 2 different times and his appt had come while mine had passed. Well mine passed because the employee was talking to the woman who didn't even have an appointment. Might be helpful to put an actual person back in the waiting room area and train the staff on how to treat patients. Both staff members I encountered were not pleasant.

Go early if u don't make an appt. I mean like 5 or 6 Am.staff is nice and efficient. Park right in front of place and avoid lunchtime. This is not a scary place as some have said.

Gina was my phlebotomist! She was efficient and friendly! She got me on the first stick, and I’m a hard stick. This was my first experience at this location. I walked into a clean and nice environment! Check in was easy and self explanatory! I will definitely return for future lab work!

Couldn’t be happier with Quest location. I had an appointment at 12:10. I checked in at 12pm and was seen at 12:03pm. The blood test took less than 5 mins (was extremely quick and efficient.). I will definitely be using this location from now on.

The waiting room is a dystopian holding tank. A dead black television hangs on the wall. A computer rises starkly from the floor. Ones fate relies on their ability to coax it successfully. But what is success here. Submission, alienation wrought by an almighty institution claiming the power to extend life... But what kind of life is this?

All I can say is, make an appointment a week ahead, and remember your script, and this will be a painless (minus the needle!) experience. Friendly staff. Although if you don't make an appointment: plan to spend a little time there and don't get grumpy if you do, they're doing their best.

Terrible location, homeless sleeping right next to the entrance door and would not accept a digital copy of my script. Only thing good was the nurse who denied my blood test was polite.

Trying to schedule an appointment with Quest is miserable and impossible. I don't understand how they are in business. Avoid them if you can .

My second time here and both times I had appointment and waited over an hour. They have some buggy self check in keyosk which is only way to check in because no one ever comes out to speak to anyone personally.

Why even make appointments available when they just ignore them? 3 appointments all for 12:30pm, each time I was not called back until 1pm or later. WHY EVEN HAVE APPOINTMENTS IF YOU DONT HONOR THEM

This location is terrible. Staff is extremely rude, petty and highly unprofessional. Gina, Gwen and Corrine does not show customer care & does not care about the patients. The skip patients 3 times in a row, delete bloodwork scripts & lie on patients. I’ve had nothing but trouble here with no resolution & the supervisors believe their employee and coworkers.

This location used to be very efficient but now I think they are overwhelmed; waited an hour just to be sent home over an unknown billing issue! I came back only to have a lab missed! Please do better as patients wake up very early for these appointments!

I just had one of, if not the best, bloodwork experiences of my life at this location. I was terrified after reading the most recent reviews for this place, but they must have made a complete 180 since. I arrived 15 mins early and checked in with no issues (you MUST have an appointment, this location is too swamped for walk-ins. I used the online app, no problem). They called me back 10 minutes after my scheduled time. Everyone seemed kind, professional, and courteous, and it was certainly busy. I wish I had asked the name of the wonderful lady who took my blood—she was a magician! I am not easy to stick at all, and she found my vein, got the needle in with barely a pinch, and filled the tubes in what must have been 30 seconds. I was AMAZED, and told her so. I’m not kidding when I say the most painful part of this whole process was eventually ripping off the bandaid. Give these healthcare workers some props!

I had been ill for over a week following my return from vacation. My physician ordered blood work and I went to the Quest Delaware Place Plaza location on Friday March 3 to have my blood drawn. The location is close to where I live. All Quest locations now want you to make an appointment for lab tests which is fine for routine bloodwork but they do not take into consideration an urgent blood work request. I signed in around 10:15 am, as a walk in, hoping to be taken within an hour since only 4-5 other patients were in the waiting area. I showed up on the TV screen as stand-by patient #3. Masks are supposed to be worn but only myself and two other patients had masks on and there were no masks in the waiting area for anyone who didn't have one. While waiting, I witnessed the harassment of a patient who, according to the harasser, was "taking too long" to sign in. No one in the waiting area attempted to diffuse the situation or tried to get the attention of the lab personnel. Then a legally blind woman came in and was trying to figure out how to sign in. She asked if anyone knew how to log in using the "Swipe method" which is mentioned on the video playing in the waiting area. There was an actual Quest employee there to have bloodwork done but she told the woman she didn't know anything about the "Swipe method". Finally, another patient in the waiting room helped the woman "swipe in" and she was given a check in number. The video explains that one of the lab staff would come out and help her finish logging in. That never happened while I was there. After waiting over 40 minutes, I decided to call the Quest customer service number listed for the Delaware Place Plaza location and told them I was ill and had been given a lab order by my doctor for bloodwork. I told the representative I signed in as a "stand by" and had already waited over 40 minutes. She firmly told me that I should have made an appointment to alleviate the waiting and also told me there was no guarantee that I would even be able to have the blood drawn that day. After the useless phone call, I decided I would only wait an additional 15 minutes and then would leave. Imagine my surprise, when after the phone call, my name suddenly disappeared from the "Stand- by" list on the TV screen. When the next technician came out to call a patient back I told her I noticed my name was no longer on the "stand by" list. She told me and I quote " You probably left the waiting area and didn't hear your name called. That's why your name is no longer on the list. You will have to sign in again to get on the stand by list". I believe she also told me that only 3 people at a time can be on stand-by. The audacity of her statement and the tone of her voice when she made that statement was enough for me to leave right then and there. I ended up going to the Quest location at 4041 Delaware Ave after being able to make an appointment for 12:15 pm. The lab location was convenient and had plenty of parking. The waiting room was pleasant and comfortable. The lab tech, who took care of me, was very pleasant. I informed the lab tech of my experience at the Delaware Place Plaza location. She told me she would pass along my experience to her manager, who is also the manager for the Quest Lab at the Delaware Place Plaza. It seems there are ongoing issues at the Delaware Place location. I would not recommend going to that location under any circumstances. They need to have a security system in place to monitor the waiting area for safety purposes.
