You will NOT be able to reach anyone by phone here or in any Rite Aid store in the area. Calls will be ignored. Other than that, you'll get your prescription eventually. Wouldn't worry much as long as it's not life-saving medications. I wouldn't be rude to the staff, though. They could be understaffed.

This review is for corporate. Pay your employees a fair wage. The pharmacy staff shortage is a direct result of corporate greed. It affects our community and our physical and mental health. These medications are life saving and some are not able to show up in our lives without them. I want to reiterate that this is not the fault of the store or pharmacy employees so please don’t placate me with “we appreciate your feedback and will follow up with the store.” Do better. This is pure negligence on the part of the higher ups who are no doubt making 6+ figures.

The pharmacy is atrocious. I rarely get my prescription on the expected date and calls are often ignored. There have been many occasions where the pharmacy closes early without prior notice.The store is neat and clean, but the pharmacy is so consistently bad that it's hard to rate this place higher than a 1.

Staff was very welcoming and asked if I had found everything I was looking for, was informed upon entering the store how much time I had before closing. Appreciated that.

The pharmacy was closing early for an emergency. I absolutely understand that— however I’m curious if they are able to send our reminder texts for prescriptions why is closing early not something that could be communicated via text. The pharmacy was closing at 7 we arrived a few minutes beforehand and tried to talk to the pharmacist about still picking up our prescriptions because we were going out of town. The pharmacist made direct eye contact and closed the window without even responding to us speaking to her. It’s just frustrating when you need a medication and you’re blatantly ignored.

Why can't someone answer a phone at rite aid? I have 250 senior residents, and those who use rite aid pharmacy on bailey/delevan and 424 Elmwood cannot get through. I use Wegmans. One call and I'm always on with someone. Always-12 years. This is so frustrating when they need their medications and can't even get the curtesy of an answer. Terrible. Customer service is dead as we knew it.

This is a nice Rite-Aid. I've never heard or seen any negative discourse. Associates treat customers with respect. They check prices of items when there's a discrepancy.Peaceful buying at this RiteAid.

I was told to down load their app to ask for refills and other prescriptions. I did, so when I need a medication I put the request on the app. and inform them about the time that I am going to pick up. I can check the app and find out when the med. is ready. It is very convenient.

Pharmacy NEVER answers the phone, I confronted one of the staff about it & she stated it’s cause their short staffed like how are yawl “short staffed” everyday. I transferred my scripts to Walgreens - they’re faster, they actually acknowledge your online refill request & MOST importantly they answer the phone. I’d give Rite Aid 0 stars if I could !

I’m left with no choice but to review in hopes something is done here! This used to be the best Pharmacy in the city. It has completely gone downhill in the past 6 months. I miss the old pharmacists man and woman. Where did they go? They were everything! Seamless transactions every single time. They didn’t make the customer MAKE SEVERAL PHONE CALLS to correct an issue (which is never an issue but an ability to problem solve and understand what doesn’t look correct). The phone line circuits are always BUSY. And honestly, I hate to call it out but Colin, DO BETTER. I, for years, went here instead of my online plan which is cheaper because I loved the personal touch and now I’m finally done and fully enrolled online with Optum. He doesn’t troubleshoot issues and makes a patient call a MILLION times to solve any discrepancy. I was pretty much dying one night in that pharmacy waiting for him to refresh a computer and pretty much begging him to call my doctor back, and he was more concerned with closing up the pharmacy and throwing out trash. Suffices to say I ended up in the ER because he couldn’t communicate effectively after hours with my doctor who called in a script. Understanding additional information was needed due to Regulatory requirements but why did I have to do his job and call the nurse on duty? I would have not had to have EXPENSIVE emergency care and emergency surgery had he been able to review the system when my doctor called. It’s actually pathetic how many calls I’ve had to make to solve things that he says are problems, but are not. Even today! He didn’t bill things correctly and I’m left scrambling at the hospital trying to figure out if I would get my antibiotic because he told me another pharmacy filled it!?!? That was never the case, he misinformed me, made assumptions, and didn’t care to gather accurate information - since my doctor wrote it yesterday - it was billed yesterday. I called the OptumRx line and they literally told me in 25 seconds, he didn’t bill it right, I see the problem right here. Enough is enough. I’m a nice person, I’m sure Colin is as well, but the level of complete neglect and laziness is 100% unnecessary and unconscionable. Had I not seen other reviews regarding similarities I probably wouldn’t have written this. But we need an all hands on deck problem solving group training. The reason why they are so busy is simple - unnecessary rework of unproductive non-value add tasks. I cannot!!

Phone calls are never answered especially in pharmacy department. This store needs to be under new management. How would I know if my prescription was received if they don't answer the phone!!!! There is nothing wrong with their phone system...they just don't answer the phone. I Will be using another pharmacy.
