They always either don’t have the most common medications at the pharmarcy and ask you to come back in few days or if they have it, it takes them forever to get it ready!!

I went in here on Tuesday, May 18th for my first dose of the moderna vaccine. The only reason I went to this rite aid to get it done was because a family member recommended this location to me. So I booked my appointment a month in advance. I registered on the website and I filled out all my paperwork/forms online. When I signed in at the store I showed my printed out confirmation paper/my photo id/insurance card and I found a seat. The only place to sit was on the bench of the blood pressure cuff machine. They were literally calling everyone back except for me, they were skipping over me by calling people who showed up after I did. I realize there's a lot of people waiting for their shots, but the people who have a scheduled appointment for a specific time frame should be top priority over the people who walk in off the street/people with health insurance should also be #1 priority since they ask for your insurance card. My appointment was scheduled for 7:12PM and they didn't bother taking me back until after 7:30 and that's only because I spoke up and I said something. If I didn't speak up when I did, then i'm sure I would have been sitting there for another hour or two. When I finally got my vaccine I was given a card and I was told to come back on June 15th. I told the guy that I couldn't make it on the 15th and he told me to call the store the following day to reschedule it for a new date. After I walked out of the room where I got my shot, I was told to stay in the waiting area for a few minutes to see if I had any side effects. After a few minutes time I felt extremely dizzy/light headed and I felt like I was sweating. I knew I had to leave the store or else I was going to pass out. When I got home that night I was freezing cold and shivering. The following day I woke up with a swollen/sore arm which was to be expected and I had a stuffy nose. On Wednesday the 19th I called this store and I was connected to the pharmacy. I told them my name and they claimed they couldn't find me in their system. The guy I spoke with was trying to argue with me on whether I got my shot at their store and I told him that i'm literally looking at my vaccination card that was given to me by their store. Then he made me spell out my name letter, by letter and he finally said oh, I found you in the system. After going through all that, he told that I would have to wait and call back in June to reschedule my appointment for a new date. Then yesterday May 20th I got both a text message/email confirmation from this Rite Aid with my second appointment that they scheduled for June 15th @ 7:12PM after I specifically told them that I can't make it on the 15th. So I tried rescheduling my appointment on the website and it told me that I couldn't because they don't have anymore appointments available for the second dose. So I had no choice but to cancel my appointment at this Rite Aid because I couldn't reschedule it for the date I needed it for. So I had to look up a different vaccine location to see what other places were giving a second dose of moderna and I ended up having to schedule a new appointment at a totally different facility. Now my new appointments Friday, June 18th 4:45PM @ Key Bank Center.

This has been my "go-to" pharmacy for decades. The location is great. The hours are fine. However, every business owner needs to periodically re-asses their facility. It was new and shiny a decade or two ago. But how is it today? The waiting area has grimy, thread-bare carpeting. Floors throughout the store are dirty. Baseboards have seen better days. You need to do more than put a sticker on the blood pressure machine telling people to wipe before and after each use using the wipes supplied. You actually have to make sure wipes supplied. There is no indication as to when, if ever, the chairs and touchable surfaces in the waiting area were last sanitized. There are no visible electrical outlets or USB ports. There are no signs indicating where the restrooms are.As to the service - it couldn't be better. The pharmacy staff are always pleasant, attentive, and professional. My prescriptions are refilled automatically and I get calls to remind me when they are ready. They communicate with my primary care physician to let them know which vaccinations I've had. In that department this store is on top of things. Still, given the lack of sanitation and cleanliness, I think I am on the prowl for a new pharmacy.

The service and employees are Awesome although the floors were very dirty especially in cart area. We don't like going to this one unless We really have to cause of how dirty it is.

This pharmacy is the most unprofessional pharmacy I have ever been to, you wait several hrs to get ONE PRESCRIPTION, DON'T GET ACKNOWLEDGED AT DRIVE THRU, HAVE TO COME BACK SEVERAL TIMES FOR YOUR FULL SCRIPT!!!!!!!! IF you are looking for a professional service go eleswhere, especially if you have a sick child it will take hrs to get 1 simple script!!!! This is no exaggeration!!!!!

The people are nice enough but the pharmacy staff takes way too long to fill scripts and apparently will not call to notify you when they are finally ready.

It's nice to treated with care and respect. This rite aid does. I drive from the west ferry location because of the rude help there. Thank you for the drive thru for picking up medications. Like I said, they are friendly and they go out of their way to help you out, with a question or to get you what you need. That even explains the insurance policy too. Thank you again.
