Spent a great evening at dinner at Russell's, then overnight at the hotel. Rooms are immaculate and have all the amenities you need. Hotel is clean and rooms include a wonderful hot breakfast along with cereal, fruit, yogurt, etc. Nice getaway for myself and boyfriend.

Reception workers and decor is where the good ends here. For $340/night after taxes, this was deplorable. I've had better stays in a $40/night motel 6.For reference I stayed in a Royal suite. The first room me and my girlfriend were given, was entirely trashed and full of garbage with literal half eaten steak sitting on the bed. We ended up having to go back to reception to change the room only to find out the second room we were given, The TV in the living room area was broken and didn't work The rug was frayed and falling apart of and the shower was completely unusable because the handle to determine water temperature was improperly mounted and you either get ice cold water or boiling hot water but nothing in between, but at this point I had already lugged my stuff around this hotel twice I wasn't doing it again I just sucked it up and stayed in the room. The walls are so thin that you can hear people having regular conversations in the room next to you, This is the most expensive room offered by the hotel, and it's louder than my old apartment that had no sound proofing. The bed in the room was also so stiff that it made it very difficult to sleep. We were offered no compensation of whatsoever for any of these problems not even a free night stay not that I want to ever step foot inside that hotel ever again

We have stayed at this hotel a few times and always very happy with our experience! Breakfast is great. You might even get to meet the owner himself at breakfast.

Be warned if you have a gift card it will not be honoured. This was our 40th anniversary and I had received a $500 master gift card as a bonus. My intention was to use it for our anniversary. However when i presented it at the front desk they said that there system couldn't except it. Fortunately I had other credit cards to use. I would have been very upset after driving 2 hours to discover that i couldn't use my gift card. This experience wont prevent me from going to Russels again it was awesome.this is just a warning to those who may wish to use a gift card in future.Russels should have something on their website that say "WE DONT ACCEPT GIFT CARDSRegards Gary Burnett

I read Russell Salvatores book while we were in the room and found it interesting that he went to Kensington high for a bit, so did i. Nice to see others who came from my community be so successful!!We stayed at the Grand Hotel for NYE '24. Today is New Years day, we woke up before 9 & hurried for breakfast but eggs were gone. There was a large wedding party in the breakfast room with a few tables pushed together and some of them had 10+ pancakes piled on their plates so my fiance only ate 1 because there was literally just 1 pancake left. They brought 0 warm food out between 9-10am. For the price of the room, I definitely expected that warm breakfast the next day. On top of it, the breakfast hostess was less than pleasant she was uncouth. I walked my empty tray to her out of courtesy but she scolded me like a was a little girl "next time leave your tray on the table" . I left the hotel with high blood pressure and a growling stomach. It really should have been listed on the little pamphlet they give us at check-in, that there is no warm breakfast served between 9-10. Had I known, I wouldn't of enjoyed our royal suite so much by sleeping in. Fruit salad with freshly cut/peeled fruit is a sign of the times, nothing fancy just some apples bananas oranges in a bowl && that would have possibly made up for lack of a warm breakfast. I am highly disappointed in that experience. But, the 14oz filet mignon from Russell's was wonderful as always which is why I only took off 1 star.

Our visit wasn't recent; it was a few years ago when my husband surprised me with a dinner at Russell's & stay at SGH. We took Friday off from work & went on Thursday afternoon, had a GREAT dinner, went back to our room & had drinks in the XL tub while watching the CMAs. Wonderful breakfast served next morning. Everything absolutely top-notch!

Our first time to stay here before a Bills game. Rooms are very nice with a love seat, refrigerator and microwave. Beds are very comfortable too! Breakfast (eggs, sausage, potatoes, corned beef hash, pancakes + fruit, yogurt, toast) was delicious with real plates, silverware and cloth napkins! Very clean and well kept. At check in, James was very helpful and called our room to confirm a request that we made. Will love to come back here to stay and eat!

Russell 's Salvatore's Grand Hotel is a one of a kind experience! It's not only a beautiful hotel but everyone is so pleasant and the food is great! Russell himself is always there working at the hotel and making sure the place is being run right! He is just a hard working gentleman! This is a beautiful hotel and restaurant! Mr. Salvatore does a phenomenal job and deserves to be rewarded for all he does for people! He makes it a great experience while you stay at his place! Thank you Mr. Salvatore from my husband and myself who had our first stay here; for a Shriners event and truly enjoyed it!Rooms: Beautiful roomsFood & drinks: Delicious food!
