I ventured into the store a few times in the early aughts. Looking for premium audio I was met with eye rolls as if somehow I was unworthy of there service. They are the "Jeffrey's" of audio visual ( an old SNL reference ). I've since gone elsewhere and have probably saved thousands by shopping smarter.

Went in here without the intention to buy but had a ton of questions and wanted to check out the speakers. The gentleman that helped me was so nice and informative! Hoping to come back in the future to buy a new subwoofer!

Exceeded all expectations. I was hesitant given the amount of money a high quality McIntosh amp costs but my experience here was superb. Mike helped me with everything. I was able to listen to the amp I wanted paired to my actual speakers! There was zero sales pressure and they truly just had fun listening to music with me and answering questions.They kept me updated on my order while it was being manufactured then I picked it up. Everything pristine. I will always go here from now on. There is nothing better.

If u r having problems with your vintage speakers that u love, don't buy new ones. Take them here to be repaired. Their customer service is amazing and their price is very reasonable. They repaired my 1984 Fisher speakers and they sound great!

Paul came by yesterday afternoon to get my new Anthem amplifier set up to use its ARC room correction feature. He knew exactly what to do, and had it all done in an hour or so. The system sounded pretty good beforehand, but *really* splendid afterwards -- my sincere thanks to Paul for making the magic happen!In the shop, Mike listened to me, understood my audio needs right away, and pointed me at the Anthem amplifier to meet my budget constraints. I'm grateful for his expert help.And I am grateful, too, for the time that Mike took when I was in shopping for speakers -- my new Sonus faber Sonetto VIIIs are wonderful! I wasn't sure that I could get such fine speakers within my budget, but Mike let me listen to several that would have done nicely. The Sonus fabers combine great sound with equally great looks, all packaged in a beautiful cabinet, just light enough that I can even move them around my listening room by myself -- at my age, that is no small thing!I had fun, too, chatting with Ed about some of the old-time stereo hands in Buffalo. He also had the interconnects that I needed; one-stop shopping did it for my sound system!All in all, I am extremely pleased with the help from the guys in the Speaker Shop, and will certainly be back when my audio system needs its next upgrade.

It's great to still have a local small business to purchase from in the area. They answer questions and knowledge you don't get buying online. Wish I knew about them a little earlier, but they have a new customer. Recently purchased some Klipsch speakers and they helped me with some solid speaker stands.

Great little auto and video shop. You get a much more personalized experience. Not like the big box stores. Purchase a Sony oled at a very reasonable price. Very happy with the exceptional service. The service is great. I purchased a Sony 55 inch oled for $1499 and im extremely disappointed with it very very dim picture quality almost to the point of can’t watch it. Out of the box the best picture option is vivid what a shame. I really really wanted to like this tv . In the stores all the stores the oled’s looks bright vivid and great contrast in color and it could not be further from the opposite when I got it in my house like I said, I was so disappointed. Now I have to sell it and take a loss because I don’t have the box lesson learned. If you want a bright tv go with led , mine led or qled

Very refreshing to work with The Speaker Shop in Buffalo. I live 2 hours away and Had many phone calls with Mike in regards to some HIFi equipment that I’m interested in. What I was looking for was new technology to me and his patience(w my Multiple calls) and experience helped make me feel comfortable w the direction I want to go and offered great solutions. The first piece I ordered came in and took a run out to Buffalo to Pick up what i ordered and Mike and Guy and the crew were all eager to guide Me through the setup I was going to do when I got home. The shop is incredible with a fantasticselection of great HiFi gear to see and to listen to. They were all anxious forMe to listen to some unbelievable speakers amps and hi res tracks.Great experience great people. I thank you and I’ll be back!

I had a blown out tweeter so they ordered me one, I paid for it and they told me they would call me when it came in. I call them 10 days later and ask about the tweeter and they tell me the company doesn't make them anymore,so I say oh why didn't you call me, the guy on the phone got stand offish started to talk fast and frustrated saying they don't make them anymore. Then I say ok I believe you that they don't make them any more but I'm sure the company you order from told you that information in 2 to 3 business days its 10 days later and you were incompetent in relying the message to me . Treated me like trash
